I was browsing Surly Horns to see what other notable baseball fanbases were saying about the CWS. It's amazing how Texas of all fanbases was bitching about LSU baseball's recruiting and how we buy players with NIL.
Seriously, Texas Longhorn fans were bitching about how LSU was spending money on baseball recruits. You heard that right.

Yea we are apparently the only major program buying players out of the portal yet somehow our biggest competitors in the sec got more marquee names last year. I guess those kids just went to those other schools for free or took less money than we offered.
The attitude of the media and other fans about this shite is comical.
Tennessee gets Doyle, Fischer, and Killen. Arkansas got Root and others and Aloy the year before.

To be fair, as shitty as most Tennessee fans are, they're at least aware on this front.

his first appearance in his career was against DBU. he went 2.0 IP, have up no runs, no hits, didn't walk anyone and struck out 5.
He faced Alabama, went 1.2 IP, gave up 3 hits, and allowed 2 runs. Not a great outing.
He faced LSU and wen 1.2, gave up 1 hit, walked 1 and struck out 3.
That was all in his first month as a college pitcher.
Oral Roberts has always been a solid program. They went 37-22 and won their conference regular season title. he pitched against them 4 times. In total, he threw 8 innings, gave up 6 hits, walked 3, and struck out 11, giving up a total of 2 runs.
Creighton was an NCAAT team this year, winning the Big East and had a 43-16 record. He faced them twice. He threw a total of 1.2 IP, gave up 3 hits, no runs, and didn't alk anyone.
In total, he gave up zero runs in 17 of his 24 appearances.
I'd say he looked pretty solid as a true freshman.

Thanks for the link. Solid pitcher that reminds me of Kade Anderson. Really good breaking ball. With a little work, should be a great addition.

I dont care what they say. I dont even see it as a negative if they think we pay best,thats a compliment if true and if the kids think we pay more then thats good as well.
