I know it is off topic, but anybody know how Stovall is doing?
A friend of mine in TX, recently told me how Jerry led him to Christ at an FCA event at Black Mountain NC, around 45 years ago. He wanted to reach out and thank him.

If you don't have a Degree from Louisiana State University, you ain't be no fricking Alumnus. (Alumnus is singular/one person. Alumni is plural/more than one)

Then that leaves of Jerry Stovall; I believe he actually finished his college degree from Missouri Baptist University when he was playing with the Cardinals.

I sat in on an annual LSU Alumni Conference many years ago and someone made a comment about being a "Diploma carrying Alumnus" and Dr. Charlie Roberts quickly corrected them and shared that LSU considers you an Alumni on day one and the common incorrect misunderstanding is a battle they had been fighting for years and knew it would be fought for years to come, here we are almost 30 years later and seems nothing has changed.

I copied the following from the LSU ONLINE site today.

You Are an LSU Alumni Starting on Day 1
Forever LSU. You’ve heard the song after football games, you understand the concept. But what does it truly mean?

As an LSU Alumni, a status we welcome you to join on day 1 of your classes with LSU Online, you join the more than 225,000 individuals who call LSU home.
