It’s crazy they would allow a judge who went there rule on it.
Any judge that would do this is crazy….it is a no-win situation.

Col Reb is a plantation owner.

Dude just needs to go to the damn draft. This is the highest his stock will ever be in a VERY weak QB class
Next years class is loaded and with no Lane/CWJ, there’s no guarantee he will maintain his level of play
So yes while he can make more money at OM next year rather than NFL, long term going the NFL now would be a much better decision for him than next year
Whoever is advising him is retarded

Judge is Ole Miss alum. Lawyers are OM alum. One of the OM lawyers is founder of OM NIL Grove Collective. Doesn't seem ethical. This is a weak QB class in NFL draft outside of Mendoza. Chambliss considered no later than 2nd round pick. He should have declared for NFL. He won't have offensive gurus of Kiffin, QB Coach, and OC who helped him become a good QB. Golding is defensive coach and their new offensive coaches are not the same high caliber offensive coaches. Don't see him being a better college QB next year. He's not in a rush get to the NFL, it's all about NIL $$, specifically $5 million which will set him for life.

No, it won’t work that way as I understand it. They would have to vacate any wins due to an ineligible player.

Wrong..like way wrong. He's done.

Can't just let kids get extra years now they are getting paid. Sets a precedent that can be taken back.
If I was NCAA and they get a temporary injection to let him play. I would say if he loses out at the end all games for the year are forfeited

Who cares what ncaa record books say Ole Miss will still claim the wins.

Judge must have been a State fan.

So he had been denied by ncaa, then appeal to ncaa denied and now the court with Miss. Judge denied him too?
Don’t think the Miss judge denied him.
That seems highly unlikely.

The judge has already ruled against Chambliss in an earlier filing. I can't recall the specifics, but I think it was an attempt to circumvent the NCAA process (I think Chambliss wanted to be declared eligible in time to transfer with Lane, but that is pure speculation on my part). Some judges take the law seriously; we can hope this is that sort of judge.

If he is out of eligibility, he does not have to declare. The question is, will they make room for him at the combine? I suspect they will if things go against him on the 12th. But if he wants the NFL, then he should go now.

I really don't know why he isn't going pro since there's such a weak QB class this year.
He will take a paycut by going to the NFL. He is making 1st round money at Ole Miss and he is not a 1st rounder.

it's 2026, making a mockery of the legal system in the United States is just business as usual.

WGAF. We held him to 24 pts last year. With lane leading our offense we will score way more than 24
Posted on 2/5/26 at 11:17 am to MasterAbe1
You guys do realize Miss court is likely going to give him an opportunity to play right?
Posted on 2/5/26 at 11:18 am to Herman
Or he can skip all that BS and get drafted in first round.
Posted on 2/5/26 at 1:56 pm to MasterAbe1
MasterAbe he sees the OM judge next week when he will issue an injunction and Chambliss will be the QB in 26.

Goat he's not rated for 1st round, I think it's 3rd or 4th.
