Yes because I'm not a fricking retard that thinks an immensely talented 18 year old is done developing after throwing 3 ints vs a top 25 defense in Texas.
I will never understand how dumbass people can watch up close at how much Burrow sucked for the vast majority of his first year here as a 4th year junior, how much Jayden Daniels was hit and miss for most of his first year here behind a patchwork team as a 4th year junior with 2.4 years of starts, see how they turned out in year 2 at LSU, AND STILL talk about kids who are basically high school age, starting for their team.
Yes, he is my #1 option if he hits the portal. Im not dumb like everybody else. That OL with 5 different players who never started together with zero experienced depth is going to have growing pains. Getting a one and done QB will be great, but it's not going to put LSU into a championship role. I'd rather develop an immensely talented player for a year and then see his 2nd year shine under an experienced defense and offense.

Dude fricking sucks. The last 7 passes he threw we’re 10 yards out of bounds.

like i said....there are some that don't care if he can pass, because he can run.
I want a QB who is pass first, but has the ability to run when needed. It makes no difference if you can run GREAT, if you can't hit the side of a damn barn passing. See Reed from A&M. Yes, you will likely win 8 or 9 games, but you are limited when you play good defenses and will get beat.

He’s developed quite the turnover capability over the season.

exhibit A......going to support him because he is black and can run. Nevermind a good defense will shut him down because he isn't accurate...and yes, you seem to support "certain players" no matter what they do.....which everyone sees.

quote:1. Burrow was horrible for most of 2018. The revisionist history EVERY TIME on 2018 Burrow is hilarious. People actually wanted him benched at times, but it seems like many of you forget. Go look at his numbers vs the top 5 defenses he played.
Are you under the impression that
A) Underwood’s season is even close to Burrows 2018
Or
B) that burrows leap has frick all to do with other QBs development
I mean look at Nuss
2. A redshirt junior getting his first real start vs a true freshman 18 year old getting his first real starts.

Burrow was about 100 times smarter than Underwood. Just stop.

No he wasn’t. He looked like Danny Etling but a little better. He sure didn’t look like he did in 2019, though.

How does the Oracle man feel......12million!

Yes. I do. More than anyone out there He is going to be really good.

unless he can be coached to change his sidearm throwing motion, he will only be effective as a running QB. He may improve as he gets older, but changing a throwing motion has ended many a prospect.

Still better than anything we have.
True freshman with HUGE upside.

LOL he is 18 years old starting in the Big 10 and has a huge arm. Of course I care if he can pass. I would assume he MIGHT develop as a QB between year 1 and year 2, and probably have a slightly higher learning curve under Kiffin than he did in a year under Sherone Moore.

Nothing wrong with that, but Lane Kiffin does not run a pass first offense and has done pretty damn good with average passing QBs who were highly mobil.

I would definitely take him. He’s a man amongst boys.

JD was similar
If LK can make Chambliss better he could do the same with Underwood
