No! Wise and company's coaching outscored GA to win the game. This can only is a plus to recruits and portal guys. Also this team was built by Kiffin and Wise as far as offense is concerned. OM being in the final 4 is a plus for us. Golding had nothing to do with the offense. Blake Baker will be the reason we will recruit well defensively.

Obviously, it's Glasscock's job to do this but there's no arguing that Ole Miss winning and their season continuing while the portal is open and our offensive staff still coaching another team certainly, unquestionably creates wrinkles and difficult decisions in regards to offers and timing that would have not existed if Ole Miss lost.

There’s 50+ other teams with players in the portal. Do you wait til Ole Miss loses to fill out your roster or do you move on? It is not terrible for us but it does add complexity. If we sign a big name QB or RB, do Chambliss or Lacy go elsewhere?

This is a very bad feeling. It happened to me. Twice. It hurt for a long time but it gets better until the second time which hurts a lot longer and leaves you changing your mind about women and next thing you know you have a new set of friends who like to do new different things like disco dance, ballroom dance, make crafts and play catch the greased pig but the pig is a dude and he doesn't try very hard to not get caught. Anywho, what I'm trying to say his I really hope this doesn't happen to Coach Kiffin because he sort of already looks and acts like my new friends so maybe just getting left at the alter one time will tip him over the edge. If he is fast and shifty then he can play the grease pig next game.

AND, now we have to wait for them in the portal - not knowing IF they will transfer - while other portal players just as good will want to know what is LSU's plan.
I hope LSU"s plan is "we are waiting until Ole Miss's season is over to see who comes over before we make any other decisions".

I respectfully disagree.
With Kiffin now in the fold at LSU, LSU is still the superior destination.
Not sure that Ole Miss can sustain this level of success, IMO.

I agree that it makes it tricky on getting Ole Miss players. Everyone knows that Chambliss and Lacy are guys we want, and that we could get burned by holding out for them. It complicates the situation, particularly Chambliss, who likely cemented himself as Lane's top want at qb. The playoff run, coupled with waiting on his eligibility decision makes is a complication.
I guess you are getting beat up with responses because some interpret your wording as too dramatic. But you are correct with your sentiment. This board is just like all social media. It brings out the aholes.

If theyvl were interested in coming to LSU thats different but everyone here is freaking out over Ole Miss players coming or not. That shite is wild. LSU built an empire. We do cry over who is and who isnt.
