Tulane will always have more SEC championships than Brian Kelly.

Common opponents prove nothing in the current college football landscape.

You right, big wins over UAB, rice, North Texas and southeastern should be the measuring stick. Destroying Kelly for beating up on the service academies. Meanwhile, biggest win they have is Navy.

They've been the better program since BK has been here

One of the stupidest things I’ve read on this site.

Wtf is wrong with our “fanbase”?

Sounds like your feelings are hurt that Tulane is getting more national attention than LSU

I’m happy for them. They are doing well for their conference.

They can even talk shite. But to say they are better is asinine.

Garbage. Tulane could be big players in college football if they wanted to. The average Tulane alum is wealthier than the average LSU alum. Maybe if they'd beaten Oklahoma I'd take them seriously.
ok? What is your point? They spend under 10 million a year. LSU over 200 million. Whether they could spend more isnt a question. The athletics department/football doesn’t have the resources or even close to the resources LSU does.

My point is that Tulane chose to be mediocre many years ago. That 10 million dollar budget is a choice, not a money obstacle. They have more money. They choose not to spend it. Thus I don't feel sorry for them when they fail which is usually the case. I also don't exalt them when the succeed like you seem to be doing.........especially at our expense.

Exalt them? By pointing out their entire budget gets Kelly to September each year.

Again, choice, no choice, priority or not. Their AD looks at a budget every year. And with a limited base get as compared to LSU they do pretty well.

I love it when people try to apply the transitive property to football.
So do I. Especially if it's applicable which in this case it could be. Tulane had two chances this season to prove that they're on par with decent Power 4 teams and they lost both of them. Mind you I said decent, not great Power 4 teams. How else can we judge them?

by 14 or more in Baton Rouge easily.
Based on what evidence? Tulane lost to the two best teams they've played this season and Kansas St. and Oklahoma aren't any better than LSU.
Tulane has no idea what it's like to go through an SEC meatgrinder where programs like Kentucky, Arkansas and South Carolina have beaten ranked teams from other conferences through the years..
We're finding out what a "Super Conference' is all about. Yet some of you want the SEC to move to a 9 game conference schedule....Good grief !!
