If my kid has a chance to go to LSU or Notre Dame, he is going to Notre Dame. ND is a top 20 academic school.

Actually, it very much is about the “other son” because he IS at LSU and discredits your point about the LSU not be8ng able to pull in the son of a guy who hheld/holds a very high position in our athletic department. This is a very strong sign that it wasn’t necessarily about LSU, rather, one son likely wanted to get out from under his dads shadow.
