I remember when I had booger and Ronnie Henderson in my econ class. Didn't know either was in that class till they showed up for the final with their personal tutor who sat next to them during the test.

Used to be Geology 1001, Acct 1001.
Had a Philosophy class with Ron Sancho back in the day. He was no slouch , he was one of the few that was reading all the books.

Who cares?
I couldn’t tell you what classes my own kids were in when they went to college. As long as they finish, that’s their business.

10 or so years ago it was sports admin classes and the general business classes (accounting, econ, management, marketing). Class checkers made sure everyone was in class.
As soon as you got up to the 4000 level sports admin classes, the amount of athletes dwindled rapidly.
A few baseball players made it through all the way. Tre' White had to miss a test for the combine in one of the higher level KIN classes.
As a sports admin major, I'd look at my class roster as soon as they came out. The more athletes I saw in the class, the better I felt about it being an easy class.
In one class, maybe sports law or sports business? We did a contract negotiation project. I had to go up against a drafted baseball player who was finishing his degree and had literally gone through the draft and and contract negotiation process a year prior. He literally, and I'm not exaggerating, put his agent on speaker phone and I had to negotiate with him.

Randall Gay was in my marketing class and we had a group project together. The group went to my apartment to use my computer. I offered him a natty light and he refused. Cool story bro.

I hope they are required to take a personal finance class with all the money they are making...

Whichever classes their class-takers can fit in.
Players get paid to play ball. They don’t do the student thing anymore.
It’s up next for high school kids

Half the LSU athletes at least are majoring in Sports Administration.

I was in economics with Collis Temple and Marketing with Bert Jones. They took real courses then. No idea about today.

Early 90s dairy science was popular for athletes. Easy A if just showed up for class.

I took an interior design class with Naz Reid, Ja’Marr Chase, Justin Jefferson, and Grant Delpit. No lie, on the first day I sat right next to Jefferson. He passed out during class with his hoodie tied tight around his head. He crashed so hard in the seat next to me, his wallet fell out of his pocket and his Tiger Card slid onto the floor.
When class ended, I noticed his Tiger Card under my seat. For a split second, I had to decide: do I keep it or hand it back? But I figured he already had enough going on, and after his Fiesta Bowl performance a few weeks earlier, it was clear he was about to blow up. I’m not one to hinder greatness so I said, “Hey Justin, I think this is yours,” and gave it back. He just nodded and said, “Thanks, bro.”

The days of the Nacho Albergamos and Matt Maucks are done. I don't think any player will stay at a college long enough to get a degree going forward
