Its called his agent trying to stir the pot and get his name out there because he needs to get paid again but LSU didnt bite. I don’t think LSU ever had one ounce of interest in hiring Ed back. It was his agent and other people creating stories and it spread.

It’d be too much of a distraction if O got hired on. ESPN would write endless puff pieces on the imaginary coaching power struggle between the him and Lane. It ain’t worth it. I’m sure O’s fire ain’t the same as we remember anyways.

I've heard this so many times about him hitting on a booster's wife. Which booster? Todd Graves' wife? Gordon McKernan's wife? Who?

I'm not saying that he didn't get a little sidetracked. But, he didn't implode the program all on his own...heading into the 2020 season there was a lot of behind the scenes bs with a certain former player that likes to wear his initials on his jackets. This isn't a guess, this is fact. He lost the team and never got it back.

Not sure but I know he went on some podcast recently that bits and clips have been circulated freely here and elsewhere.... and some of the things he said were funny and entertaining.....but probably not things a guy who wants a job in the business probably should be saying so candidly even in this new NIL age.

This 1000% happened and O had no clue who he was hitting on. Can’t remember who the woman is married to as I didn’t recognize the name, I’d have to ask my contact at TAF who told me this story directly. If my memory serves me right it wasn’t a boosters wife but a BOS members wife.
