Trump can’t keep getting away with this!

The tax was really dumb
It wasn’t just DJT pissed off
This thing was pissing off the tech industry big time, as well as Canada’s business sector

Art of the deal. Lots of money board geniuses claim Trump is a clown and cant negotiate cause of past BKs

He would make a lot more people happy if he told congress to take out the crap in the BBB.

Totally predictable
Trump did a good job of making this public.
Canada should be the least of our issues

I doubt it. Amusingly, Canada basically did what Trump supporters claim Trump does. Trump announced horrible tariff policy, then walked it back when countries said they were willing to negotiate. Canada announced horrible tax policy, then walked it back when we said we were willing to negotiate.
As always, both extremes are pointless, because nation states can take unilateral action absent of any agreement. But it’s great for scoring political points, apparently.

Other than telling them to frick off, I would love to know what you think we negotiated with them on. They caved. It’s simple

When Trump "paused" his "big board" tariffs against countries that hadn't changed their own internal policies and when we obviously hadn't met the goal of eliminating the trade deficit, was that caving as well?
As I've mentioned, I actually don't have an issue with how Trump has handled the tariff issue over the last couple of months. I'm opposed to the tariff fight as a categorical, but if it's going to happen, the last couple of months have been fine. His big board announcement and his silly tit for tat with China was buffoonery. This tax from Canada was buffoonery. It would be nice if everyone would move past the silly posturing. And to Trump's credit, at least on the trade issue, he's done so over the last couple of months. Hopefully Canada pulls its head out of its arse after this.

I am so tired of Canada and wish we could just freeze them out entirely. I know that is an unwise decision, as our economies are intermingled, but they are just getting annoying.
My last company and current company has a large Canadian side we have to work with and they are like a thorn in the side sometimes.
If Canada fractures and the Western provinces go independent are align with the USA, our lives will be a much better place.

I wasted so much fricking time over this bullshite over the last year or so responding to their auditor requests. This is a huge win

You're one of them I expected.

We’ve already established that your only definition of TDS is “doesn’t deny objective reality”, so your idiocy isn’t surprising. I’m curious to hear how he defines “hand wringing”
