Crazy that all these real coaches are getting fired and that loser still has a job.

Shows the difference in franchises with real expectations.

Firing a coach that always makes the playoffs seems crazy

Wtf are they thinking?
they are thinking this:

In their 7 playoff losses under Allen they have given up :

33
32
27
27
42
38
22

And he is supposedly a defensive coach

You then have the below which certainly doesn’t help:

quote:

In 15 playoff games with Allen he has held a team under 17 pts twice

Vrabel in 2 playoff games with maye has already twice held a team to under 17 pts

Is this now the best opening in the NFL?
Has to be. How often does a job come open for a team that’s been winning 12 games a year consistently and has an MVP caliber QB in his prime?

They played ok on D this year

Of the 14 playoff teams, they were 10th in the playoffs for pts allowed for game in the playoffs at 28.5 pts per game

That’s awful, again

Who the frick are they going to hire? Do they try and make a play for someone that’s already coaching somewhere else? Joe Brady? A college guy?

Seems like a good guy and a good coach but it’s become clear he wasn’t getting them over the hump. Couldn’t ever win the big playoff game. Didn’t even have Mahomes in the way this year

Yeah, almost unprecedented.

If Harbaugh would’ve waited two weeks he could’ve had Josh Allen

He brought that franchise back from irrelevance. Don't like this move. If you botch next hire could all fall apart.

It already was the Joe Brady offense . McDermott has zero to do with offense.

Tough to win games when your star QB turns the ball over

Idk I just watched the Patriots win a game by double digits in which their QB turned the ball over 3 times. Lat week the Texans won by 24 and their QB also turned the ball over 3 times. Patriots won last week and their QB turned the ball over twice. Same with the 49ers. Same with the Bears.

It was time.

But if you fire him, you need to look at GM too. That roster doesn’t have a ton of talent outside of JA and Cook

Yeh, when your offense gives you 30 pts on the road in the playoffs and you are a defensive coach, you need to win the damn game

Harbaugh, Tomlin stepping down, McDermott, and... Zac Taylor firmly employed.
