He was a terrible choice from the very beginning. He is a bad role model for the kids that age and at that point in their life. And you see it.

They needed a role model that was going to teach them to be responsible young men and he is teaching them to be individuals and show offs.

No one gives a shite about this unless you're losing. Coaches aren't paid 7-8 figures to teach fricking life skills.

In an era so shitty and desperate they decided to say frick it, we're hiring deion... they already had a 5 game win streak going vs Colorado state the nd state win is more impressive than csu.

This board should love what Deion is doing. He is the best daddy baller ever. But instead of getting his mediocre kids on the Point Coupee all star team, Deion is getting his kids in the NFL.

Deion's intentions have always been:

1. Market Deion
2. Market Deion's kids as being Deion's kids
3. use Deion's kids fame to help market Deion

I think he believed in himself and thought everything would fall into place because he Deion.

and then he realized kids don’t really care if you’re Deion they want NIL money and they want to play a real schedule and they want proven development.

and now he’s there getting his arse kicked. he has no NIL war chest. the recruits aren’t just coming because he’s Deion.

he’s not having a good time.

I like seeing that someone can't just rise to the top of college football with smoke and mirrors and the portal. Bama, UGA, and OSU are well-oiled machines of resources, recruiting, high-level coaching, fan support, etc.

My only criticism of this whole situation is the way the media fawned over Deion as some genius. He never really says anything profound. He doesn't want to grind. He's just sort of a fraudulent hype machine.

No numbers in front of me but have read that many players are leaving the team after one season. That speaks to who & what Deion is as a HC. They sign for his name & persona & neither holdup beyond a year it seems. But wherever he's been, he's shown that he's a huge narcissist.

Deion intentionally gravitates towards loser programs without any leverage. Allows him to do whatever he wants with no consequences.

It was ridiculous. I think they felt they had to support him.

ou must be too young to remember Deion as a player. He was always this cocky, arrogant, and had a huge ego.

And his play justified it. Thus far, he’s just a dick that sucks at coaching

Well, that's what happens when you sign 70 players from the portal.

Nothing in his history suggests he was out to do anything but help himself and by extension his kids.

Now, you may be right, but how he has acted at Colorado is consistent with everything we have always known about him.
