True but so should a lot of other governors as well.

The most logical scenario is a consolidation of power 4 conferences plus ND.
Get rid of the conferences and set up a league with regional divisions.

Sure, but no carveout for ND. If they want in they can join a conference.

They gave SMU the death penalty yet UGA bought Herschel and Auburn bought Cam and crickets. Lawrence Phillips was illiterate yet he was allowed into a NCAA member institution. UNC had fake majors just for athletes and nothing. The NCAA is over as a real entity. It ain’t coming back.

SMU got the death penalty for doing what Texas, OU, etc were doing. Yet Pedo State got a much lesser penalty for covering up child rape within their football program.

Didn't he get a gig in the Trump admin he's been working so earnestly to get? Please stop auditioning then......college football definitely needs some fixing but I also definitely don't want Jeff writing the blueprint.

If it wasn’t for the expanded playoffs fans of Ole Miss, Miami, Bama, and Oregon would be sitting at home waiting for a worthless bowl game that half their teams would have opted out of. Instead they are preparing for a meaningful game. The playoffs are keeping fanbases alive.

College football is not sacred to the United States of America. That is simply insane.

Not a bit of what is being discussed here will get by the courts, who are driving the car here and absolutely, without question, have the right to interfere in a private organization’s operations if they violate federal law or intrastate commerce regulations.

People need to accept that this is a business, and they need to understand that it was inevitable that we were going to get to this point when the big money started coming in.

The one thing that needs to be done is the Wild West portal reeled in through collective bargaining. That will pass legal muster and solve the most pressing problem.

But some fans are never going to be satisfied until something is by God imposed on the players and we return to the era where coaches are all Sgt. Hartman from Full Metal Jacket and players are basically uncompensated … college scholarships are nothing compared to the money people are making from this sport … and disposable gladiators who only exist to entertain the fans.

I get that the governor of la is kind of a tard but he's actually right in this case. College sports desperately needs some structure and rules again

Let’s play a game:

There are no more athletic scholarships, athletes just get NIL and revenue sharing.

They now have to pay all the costs associated with attending the school voluntarily choose to play for. And they will be paying those costs with money that is subject to all state and federal tax laws.

Do you think stupid people like you would still be saying athletes are uncompensated and scholarships are worthless then?
