1) The aftermath of jesus' crucifixion and how the apostles spread Christianity throughout Europe
2) the fall of Constantinople
3) the reconquista in Spain
4) the slave rebellion in Haiti
5) sack of Jerusalem by Rome and the destruction of the temple
And my #1 overall choice would be the sack of Baghdad by the Mongols and all the events surrounding it

Carlos Hathcock. Marine sniper.
He’s been emulated a lot. But not exclusively

The life of the Marquis de Lafayette. Would be best as a limited series.

I read that book after it was recommended here. Truly the most fascinating story I’ve ever read. The construction of their naval fleet (and disassembly, transport, and reassembly) has to be the greatest military accomplishment ever.

Life of Muhammad. People should understand who he was. Not sure who should play his 6 year old wife.

Make it an epic charting from the height of the Aztecs at Teotiuacan to the arrival of Cortes and the destruction of the Aztec Empire.

Great book on Cortes. I feel like it would be better done as a series as opposed to a 2-3 hour movie. If you did that you could spend some time on his upbringing as well as his relationship with Malinche. She is a pretty interesting character in history as well.

Was that his interpreter? IIRC, she was integral in forming an alliance with enemies of the Aztecs

Lewis & Clark. There are docs, but a modern high-quality movie would be great.
Daniel Boone. Movies were made in the 30s-60s, but a more realistic modern movie is overdue. Dude pulled some bad arse adventures. Just don't do like most Hollywood movies and jam in women and love interests and ruin it. See, e.g., Pearl Harbor and the first part of The Perfect Storm.

Yes. She was a beautiful slave that was offered to the Spaniards by a village that they had defeated. She must have been pretty smart too because she learned Spanish and several native dialects pretty quickly and was an advisor to Cortez throughout.

The Battle of Kursk. Would be very cool to see large scale armored battles featuring the Tiger, Panther, Ferdinand v T-34’s and KV1’s

The Battle of Kursk is the single largest battle in the history of warfare.[39][40][41] It ranks only behind the Battle of Stalingrad several months earlier as the most often-cited turning point in the European theatre of the war.[42][43] It was one of the costliest battles of the Second World War,[44][45][46][43][47] the single deadliest armoured battle in history,[48] and the opening day of the battle, 5 July, was the single costliest day in the history of aerial warfare in terms of aircraft shot down.[49][50] The battle was further marked by fierce house-to-house fighting and hand-to-hand combat.

Has there or is there a movie or good doc on Kit Carson? The blood and thunder book is awesome

I would like to see a movie about Joseph Broussard. He was one of the few who rebelled and fought the British during the expulsion of Acadians in Nova Scotia.
