It’s sad to me that I haven’t watched this show in years. Ever since it gave up comedy and adopted partisan politics as its primary goal, I can’t even get excited about seeing Michael Keaton or Stevie Knicks.

Nate being on twice in as many seasons is huge. Kinda early to be promoting his Christmas special, so maybe his new special is coming out around then. So good to see good people succeed in entertainment.

Keaton is the only one on that list that moves the needle.
IDC how cute or what ever Arianna is, that little ho is trash.

Nate and Mikey Day are working together now on their special and Nate is hilarious.
Keaton is the GOAT for me. they will have special guests every week for the 50th year they said.

Nate was hilarious. Is this the fastest turnaround on a repeat host?
Thought they usually wait years between stints.

He first hosted in 1982, but this is only his fourth time to host (and first time since 2015).

I like the host lineup but the cast is so freaking weak. Could you imagine this election year with any cast from '75 to the 2000's?

Nate's episode will be a must see.
Will probably watch John Mulaney.
Will wait and see on Keaton and watch clips if any gain traction.
Won't watch the rest.
Their takes on the election will suck, even though Maya Rudolph did a good impression in 2019 / 2020. But they haven't had a good political cold open in almost a decade. Sad.

Well that was a major focus of the OG cast to become relevant. They got away from that in the 90s, politics was softball jokes....remember Clinton-McDonalds?
The problem with SNL and politics is how female-centric the cast became...70%?....add-in the always smiling' while he delivers lines Kenan....and you have a not ready for funny cast.
Comedy is supposed to be the opposite of social engineering.

Stevie Nicks not looking so good nowadays.

Who the hell is Jean Smart.
That sounds like a 63 yr old Thrid grade teacher who is about to retire...

She just won an Emmy for the show, Hacks, on Max. Haven't seen it.

Most recently, Emmy-winner from Hacks on HBO.
Previously, 24 and most famously, Designing Women.

I'm not watching either way, so what the hell do I care?

Once the one sided politics became the norm, many quit watching. Just not funny any more either.
