I haven’t. Didn’t even know it existed. Now that you have told me, I’m going to check it out. Thanks!

Love over Gold - Dire Straits
Good call. Love that album.

Also second the OP about Nylon Curtain. Easily Billy Joel's most imaginative songwriting, just an outstanding record from start to finish.

If we're including compilations, my vote goes to The WHO's Odds And Sods and Elvis Costello's Taking Liberties.

The first two albums by No Doubt, if you like ska/punk tracks.

Long After Dark-TP & The Heartbreakers

Doesn't get the fan fair Damn the Torpedoes, Full Moon Fever, Into The Great Wide Open, Hard Promises or even his last album-Hypnotic Eye have received, but it's solid through and through.

People rag on Circus of Heaven, but I've always loved that song.

It may be underrated by others...but not by me. I listened to the shite out of that when I was a kid. My older brother had a cassette player in his car (he was in High School and I was in elementary school), and he played Tormato all the time when he was driving me to school.

The Cars - Heartbeat City.
OMG. If anything, it's overrated. It's their jump the shark album.

The Ramones - Pleasant Dreams. The only real listenable album from them from a start to finish sense. probably the most underrated album of all time.

I would add the Stones 'Goats Head Soup'. Often overshadowed by Beggars, Let It Bleed, Sticky Fingers, Exile, and Some Girls (as it probably should), GHS has some great moments: 100 Years Ago, Winter, Doo Doo Doo Doo Doo

Mine is The Stones Black and Blue: first album with Ronnie Wood. Billy Preston plays with the band as well.
