People wanting to dump lonzo for the first offer that comes up are dumb as frick.

He's never gonna be a primary scorer, but we have 3 other guys to shoulder that load. And that's before our number 4 pick and ~20 million in cap space gets used.

Think Rondo + defense + 6 inches - 12 years.

He is nothing like Rondo offensively.

At first I didn’t want him but now I think he could be an exciting guy to pair with Zion.

Great passing ability, vision and bball iq, but a poor shot? Sounds like Rondo to me.

Lavar is in full on "frick the Lakers" mode right now so he shouldn't be a problem for the Pels any time soon

It would be hilarious if Lonzo actually does well and Lavar just kept talking shite about the Lakers for years. He'd go from hated to a fan favorite

I think Lonzo will be a 13-8-8 kind of guy. Im totally fine with that with the defense and play making he will bring. I want the offense to focus through Jrue, BI, and Zion. I think his daddy is fine. He will be fun to see in the arena but he wont get in the way.

Just last week, most of this board was begging us to bring Rajon Rondo back. You "don't want a PG who can't shoot"? Just make up your frick'n minds already.

Ball is elite in transition and perfect for Gentry's system. Watching he and Zion feed lobs to each other is going to be amazing. He's a great passer, and he and Jrue are going to give us the best defensive backcourt in the NBA.

Yes, his dad is a goofball who says all kinds of stupid crap. You'll learn to ignore it.

I’ll say this. I don’t like Lonzo, at all, but I guess I shouldn’t base what he has done thus far since he had to play with LeBum.

I just can’t see him being an even decent half court player, and when you get to the playoffs, you need to excel at that, or you aren’t going to win.

I'm pumped for Ball. I'm about to order a BBB shirt and out a pels logo in it.

I would like to keep Lonzo but of course would deal him in the right offer

Even in his current state hes a 10+ year in the league kinda guy -can guard, pass, rebound and has high b-ball IQ. His ceiling is immense if he can rediscover his stroke

Ball has shot 119 free throws in 99 games

Shaq once attempted 972 FTs in a 74 game season

Balls poor FT shooting is a non factor. In fact, the real issue is his inability to actually get to the line

So if he gets to the line a lot more, we are OK with the 41% FT shooting?

Any chance Lonzo can actually develop a half decent shot? I see his ceiling being a prime Rondo at this point, which I don’t believe can win a ship in today’s NBA. A guard who can’t shoot, on a team that lacks shooters, will be torturous to watch against playoff caliber teams

Well he shot 41% from three in College. So there's a chance if you ask me. But his form is pretty broke

What worries me about Ball and Jrue playing together is that neither ever gets calls and gets to the line.

If you play Ball/Jrue/Ingram/Zion/Center, we probably have the lowest number of 3s and FTs taken by end of the season.

I would definitely attempt a 4th pick & Ball trade for Ayton.

Trade Him? Hell, I'd give him away if it came down to it.
