High school and college rings

Does your still fit? Mine fit for the last two reunions.
In my experience, almost everyone gets a high school ring, although many students are ordering watches now. Do most college graduates not order a ring? I never had the desire for one.

My high school ring still fits. But my waistline would rather not talk about this shite.
I didn't waste money on a college ring. The only people I know that wear their college rings are aTm Faggies.

I had to upsize my college ring a few years ago. But I was only 132 lbs when I graduated.
I rarely wear it and 99% of the time it sits in the wall safe.

My grandfather really wanted to get me one when I graduated college. I never wore rings, but I could tell it meant a lot to him. I was in a bathroom at the Omaha zoo while up there for a CWS, and I took it off to wash my hands and forgot it on the sink since I wasn't used to wearing it. I was only 40 feet away when I realized it, immediately turned around, but some a-hole had already stolen it.
He asked a couple times why he never saw me wearing it, but I never had the heart to tell him before he passed. It still eats me to this day.

Sold my LSU grad ring last year and bought a p365 x macro comp. That’s all I got.

Over the years…
I was told milk is good for you, smoking was not bad for you, and must own high school ring.
All wrong.

My dad got me a deer rifle instead of a high school ring. Still use it 20 years later.
Didnt get a college class ring but have one from athletics and it still fits me.

My mom and I went to the same high school, so I got her ring - it was always too big for me
I didn’t get one for college
My dad was buried with his Aggie ring (well, he was buried in NOLA, so it was probably removed later
)
My oldest son wants one when he graduates from lsu - since we homeschool he doesn’t have one for high school, so I’ll get him one. My oldest daughter (no pics) didn’t want an LSU ring when she graduated

My HS ring was stolen from my gym glass locker. It was recovered many years later during an arrest in Shreveport. Law enforcement traced it back to my high school and my parents were notified and it found its way back to me. It was beaten up pretty bad. I can only wonder how many hands it crossed during that time. I have no idea where it is today.
I never ordered a college ring. That money was needed elsewhere.

I don't even know where my HS ring is. Probably at my parents' house somewhere. I never bought a college ring, which I kind of regret now.

I got a high school ring, but never wore it. I had it melted down and turned into a nugget necklace for my wife, now ex-wife. Where it and she are right now, I do not know. I don't miss either one of them.

Ive always thought school rings were the dumbest things in the world.
Everytime I see someone wear one I think it’s so embarrassing. who gives af

It’s in my parents lockbox . Not sure why that’s something we decided to keep safe but it will be

I got both high school and ring from LSU. I wore both for a few years after I received them. My mom bought me the high school ring and my grandmother bought me the LSU ring. Because of this, they are both prized possessions now.
Neither fits me any longer.

I have a high school ring- Mom & Dad wouldn’t spring for a precious metal, so it’s the $99 version. I’m so thankful they didn’t.
My son wanted a ring, but I convinced him to get a watch. I was actually excited to buy him a decent watch- not Tag or Rolex, but a nice watch that he could wear through college and into his first career. Then he INSISTED on an Apple Watch. I tried to talk him out of it, but at the end of the day, it’s his Senior thing, and an Apple Watch was cheaper than the watches I was looking at, so that’s where we settled.
No college ring for me or wife. We probably won’t buy one for the kids, either.

Didn’t get one. I knew it would be waste and I would never wear it

Never got one. Parents gave me the option and I pocketed the cash.

High school ring doesn’t. A size too small but don't have any interest to wear it again.
Didn’t get a college ring because didn’t have interest in getting one. Did buy a nice Kate Spade leather bag for about the same price for work post-grad.

My high school ring still fits without any twisting or forcing it on.
