I don't even log into email unless I know somebody is sending me something.

Texts, Missed phone calls, Voice messages, Email accounts (two separate on my iPhone) all always tended.
And I admit to being secretly a bit judge-y to folks phones I see with huge numbers of unviewed messages.
My Outlook Mail account for work is also well-tended, filed away on the regular.

I have a shared inbox for work that currently has 600+ unread work emails
I keep up with my customers, but it's hard to keep up with 40+ different ones. Probably why this place is so dysfunctional

I intentionally don't open some personal texts because people can see when you read certain texts.
So if it's someone i don't want to deal with i leave them on unread.

I almost never read a text or an email from my wife...when I get one I just call her. She has mentioned it several times....

I never read a work email the first time I get it. If its important they will call. Never send a "reply all" email either...but man a lot of folks do.

I've gotten like 7 legitimate emails in the last 10 years, most of those being forwarded documents from within my own home. 0 for work, but probably tens of thousands of unread personal emails
