Pretty much all walk-ons In Louisiana are solid.
Only issue I’ve ever had was Corporate location
Denham location has always been great, service & food
Patiently waiting to see how the one being built in Central turns out

I got served beer by some tranny looking dude at the one in Houma a few weeks ago. It’s also empty. No good looking women rolling through. Honestly post Covid really sucks. No one goes out anymore.
I guess all the Nicholls "talent" moved up to the new Walk-Ons Thibodaux location or went to work for Hooters down the street.

The ones in Arkansas are packed but not surprising given the obesity rates here
A Louisiana guy talking about other states being fat. Hilarious.

Not kidding I was literally the only person at the bar.
I go drink at the one in Broussard while my son practices lacrosse and there’s been several times I’m the only one at the bar

It’s really sad to see these great chains get greedy and start expanding rapidly. It’s usually always a death sentence
Seems like they’d be better off expanding locally with different menus/styles, leveraging their local management ability and logistics.
Everybody wants to be a national brand and be bought out and retire at 45 instead.

Walk ons was never good. Only ppl who like shitty bar food liked their shite.
It was a fun place to watch a game and get a drink at the original location when I was in college, but even back then the food sucked

That sounds way better than managing 5 different restaurants

What?
More people are traveling than ever before. A lot of places are 1 hour plus wait. Bars seem packed.
What are you talking about?

For a while, they had a really great executive chef and the quality went up, say 2012-2015 maybe.
But now it has descended back into mediocrity. I like a good locals make good story but they have not righted the ship, at this point.

They need to move to the Twin Peaks & Hooters business model.
They have abandoned that model

Better hire an entirely new staff first. On 2nd thought, Peaks and Hooters girls aren't what they used to be either so maybe you're right.

I'm going to have to start up my Google machine. I have never in my life hears of walk ons.

The Covington location seems to be packed all the time. I haven't eaten there in over a year but I pass by the location all the time and the parking lot is full during lunch and dinner.

The ones in Birmingham are usually pretty busy and service and food have been good the last few times I've gone

Last visit a couple years ago I was entertained watching a middle aged guy at the bar try to impress the cute bartender by lip syncing a Michael Jackson song that was playing, using his straw with a crumpled napkin on top as his mic.
Had to take my shot.

Yeah IMO food is food. As long as it’s decent and not overpriced I’m gonna go because I like the variety. I also might be trash because I think Chili’s runs a good restaurant and despise most of these local chains that are overcrowded for just meh food.
