. One of the things that have helped me tremendously was these 5mg drinks you can buy at Rouses and Total Wine.

TBH I absolutely love the taste of crescent 9. Like I practically chug them because they taste so good to me.

But I pretty much never feel a thc high or buzz at all. Maybe a tiny bit when it was 6mg, but literally don't feel shite from the 5mg drinks.

And they are like 4-5 bucks a pop which is pretty steep for something that doesn't even produce the intended effect for me.

You potheads overplayed your hand, when you constantly smell weed vape residue in places you're not allowed to smoke, or at parks with kids. Potheads drove a decent amount of people who didn't used to care towards nanny statism this way.

Most cops in Texas just seem to destroy it, because there's literally nothing coming from a possession arrest:
quote:

The Misdemeanor Marijuana Diversion Program is "a voluntary program offered through the Harris County District Attorney’s Office to divert ALL misdemeanor possession of marijuana cases from jail."

People are eligible to participate if they are at least17 years old, have identification on them while being arrested, no additional charges stemming from the arrest that are greater than a Class C Misdemeanor and no warrants out on them or they are out on bond for a Class C Misdemeanor or higher.

This doesn’t sound like the drinks will be removed from rouses and other grocery stores. Am I missing something?

You didn't answer the question. The "unregulated sale" part is what we're trying to define, and it seems like that means it will still be allowed in lots of our regular stores.

I could be over thinking it but the unregulated part applies to the sale. I’m assuming this is going after corner stores and gas stations selling all kinds of stuff with no oversight.

Thats at least the way it reads to me.

Your side lost. Weed will be legal nationally within 10 years.

. This just a massive unforced error by republicans and campaign gift to democrats

quote:

Partisan Differences: Support varies significantly by political affiliation.
Democrats: An overwhelming majority (85-87%) support legalization.

Independents: Support is also high among independents (66-70%).

Republicans: Support is lower and has recently decreased. A November 2025 Gallup poll reported 40% of Republicans in favor, a 13-point drop from 2024 and the lowest level in a decade. Earlier polls in 2023 and 2024 showed support around 55%.

MADD needs a steady flow of drunk driving deaths to keep the doors open.

They want to lower the BAC to .01 in order to create more revenue for the police.

I think I could blow this by just going to some college bars I used to go to and inhaling the air.

All this is going to do is push the state legalization further, and in turn give full legalization across the board when enough states get legal MJ.

Perhaps. But I know that in the interim, it's going to destroy these companies that have spent so much money and time creating something that helps people break the chains of alcoholism. And that's a win for the big liquor lobbies.

I am so tired of smelling it everywhere I go. It’s disgusting.

That said, criminalization doesn’t work.
