If someone is in you're home, you don't play games... no warning shot, no bullshite... they made their decision and you need to respond... no bird shot, no bullshite... aim center mass and eliminate the threat with extreme prejudice... This isn't a movie... protect your family!!

If someone is in my house that wasn't invited in by me or one of the lawful occupants, they're gonna get aired out.

We aren't married, so according to every legal document we just dealt with, we are "partners"

A real man who is able to handle a firearm in the home calls them their girlfriend or fiancé. Not partner. It’s gay and androgynous social justice BS to refer to them like that. Congrats on being brainwashed.

No. You should not be entrusted with a firearm.

The men I've known who have killed other men don't generally like to talk about it so much.

My dad was a door gunner for three tours in Vietnam. He didn’t talk about it much, but, he did say that the will to stay alive is a powerful motivator.

I lived in a duplex on Wisteria my last 2 years at LSU. That was early 90's though and even most of the riff raff knew to keep to their side of Government street back then.

I figured it would be a 5’3 Asian male.

Welcome to the party. I’m glad you’ve come around to enjoying your God given right to protect you and your loved ones with a firearm. A shotgun is an excellent choice for a homeowner who is inexperienced with firearms. Please have someone teach you how to use it and take a safety course as well

He passed away.

Nonetheless, this statement:

Is spot on.

I like the idea of bird shot followed by a more lethal option
Well I hate to tell you, but bird shot is lethal at distances up to probably 15-20 yards.

There is an easy solution for this. It is called a gun.

WTF is this nonsense? You ummm.. can lock them in a safe when you’re not home. And if your guns get stolen, you report them as stolen and have no liability if they’re used in a crime. Why the hell would your friend worry about that? What an absolute pansy!

I live in Baton Rouge too

In the past 3 years I’ve been followed while jogging/walking in my neighborhood- my older sons have come to meet me with a weapon bc of this (my husband was at work)

Labor Day night back in September , some jack arse tried to get through our front door - I yelled several times for him to go away - he did not until I pumped the shot gun

All my kids and my mom were home - husband was at work - I would’ve easily blown that motherfricker away

The whole "shot to kill" to end any threat mentality is actually a poorly thought out philosophy. Maybe you do have to kill to end the threat, but that should be your secondary plan.

If this is your philosophy, then you shouldn't own a gun and you can go on being a victim or a potential victim, along with your wife and child.

The real world is a hard place. Especially when you choose to live in a city known for its crime.

Good luck, amigo. You and your wife and your newborn are going to need it.
