I think they are doing this:
quote:and doing it loudly to prevent being a location for this:
putting kids in jail for drinking on spring break

others riot, burn and destroy property

Being obnoxiously loud disturbing neighbors with a party that is almost all underage drinkers is indeed a crime

Destin is about to be on the no go list for spring breakers.
I had a place in Destin area for several years and I got rid of that bitch when the Spring breakers started coming and the damn snowbirds took over in the Winters...I said piss on that place.

This
Walton county is doing a preemptive strike on black spring break

Fort Walton Beach was the go to in the 80s. Cash's with the stuffed tiger and the sign "built with Louisiana money" over the bar.
FT Walton was still popular in the 90's too. We went in the mid 90's as seniors in high school and cops were raiding rooms at condos like the Carousel every night. It was pretty incredible thinking back to have thousands of teenagers with no supervision, drunk off their arse for a week and I dont recall anyone getting hurt.

Wasn't for a lack of effort (including yours truly).

The snowbirds are a big money maker for people who own a place at the beach.

what's insane is how stupid they are, we were drinking in high school but were very discrete about it, well, somewhat discrete, because we knew there were consequences for actions, something these young idiots seen to have no concept of

lol right? plus giving a cop a fake ID? that's most likely a trip to jail in 1986, 1996, 2006, 2016, or 2026

just a hunch based on seeing your posts from time to time, you were in high school in Louisiana in the 90s
which is to say there was very little consequences for underage drinking in that time and place. Cops certainly weren't hauling you off to jail for a house party.

earlier than that, and we weren't so scared of the cops as much as we were our parents

Cash Moore - had MB 500SL (IIRC) with a sticker that said "Auburn's most famous dropout"
His daughter's face was on billboards as she grew up. She eventually took over the business when he passed.
He had a large chunk of property off FL85 near Florala and a house on Okaloosa Island - soundside.

I thought it was "famous" but it has been many years since I saw it - obviously.
She obviously carried on the name tradition...

Not true. They nickel and dime you to death.

Brayden, Milam, and Justin are clutch. Walter only plays in the late innings when the game is out of hand.
