I only upvote myself if my upvotes sit on 13. That also goes for downvotes. I will hit the DV if it is on 13.
That said, if I UV any post that is on 12 and make it 13, I have to find another 12 UV or DV post and make it 13 to even it all out at 26.

I feel bad when I give an unpopular OP its lone upvote then the thread descends on the poster saying how pathetic he is for upvoting himself. I will admit I have done it to OweO on purpose.

I think someone loses some credibility they may have had if they feel the need to upvote their post. It's a given that you support your opinion so I don't see a need to further sway things in your favor. For whatever reason, it irks me when seeing people do this on Facebook.

I had no idea that was even possible. I figured there would have been something coded in the backend to prevent you from upvoting your own posts. It’s would. It be extremely easy to write that validation.
