I bought a new rifle and scope with part of it. I was way ahead on my savings goals last year so I decided to treat myself with some of it.
Tempted to finish paying my truck off with the rest of it but my loan has 0% interest so not really any point. Will probably invest it and forget I ever had it.

After my tax return, which I am shocked I am estimated to get one, and getting my bonus, I will have met our goal of getting down to just a mortgage payment. It will have taken 2 years. I am proud of my family for pulling it off.
Congrats dude, happy for y'all.

We get our annual bonuses in August. We have a non-standard fiscal year.

Take the family out to a fancy dinner at walk ons and maybe even splurge on beignets

We don’t get ours until March and it’s going to suck this year. Only about $10,000 net.
Will buy my son some fishing gear a take the family out for a nice meal. The rest will go into savings/IRA.

My company doesn’t give bonuses to sales reps. Even if there’s a sales rep out there who absolutely fricking killed it last year and exceeded every single goal placed in front of him. But he’s not mad at all about it.

Congrats! I wish I had been that financially responsible back when I was starting out.

Mine was almost half of what it was last year - $14k down to $8k.
Also, health insurance went up another $300+ a month.
2 steps forward, 3 steps back

We don't get ours until end of March. Plan on buying a larger toolbox combo set for my workshop. After 30ish years of tool purchasing, I've run out of space completely.I've got tools spilling out of tops of cabinets, my toolboxes etc.

Get ours mid March.
Company had a great year, records profits, C-Suite bought a jet, opened and outfitted a new fancy office.
I'm expecting the same or less bonus than usual
10% goes to the wife, 30% to the tax man, 60% to the HYSA.
I need a new roof, A/C unit is <15y old, got a kid starting college in two years, and a truck with 200k miles
Got to stack it up while I can.

Best use of a bonus is to invest it. Easy way to build wealth.
