Pittsburgh is always the correct answer.

Chicago
Pittsburgh
Shanghai

Vancouver
Seattle
No particular order^
ETA: I always have to laugh at OKC every time I’m there, especially if they build that monstrosity they’re planning.

I think of skylines in different categories.
There are iconic ones like New York and Chicago.
Visually appealing/beautiful like Denver when viewed from the east with the new mountains as the background.
Visually impressive like Atlanta when driving in from the west and you crest a hill and the whole city is just there in front of you.

Pittsburgh is similar when you come out of the tunnel onto the bridges and it’s just there

Vancouver has always been my favorite

The major Aussie cities are good as well. Sydney and Brisbane in particular.

I can't believe nobody's mentioned the downtown St. Amant skyline yet!

The OG skyline: San Gimignano

Hot take: NOLA's isn't bad.
It’s pretty impressive for a relatively small city. Comparable to Denver’s, minus the mountain backdrop. It gets some hate in the niche interest “skyline” forums for being kind of dated and boxy. It’s true that there hasn’t been much meaningful change since the 80’s, but the dome and the bridges keep it interesting. I think the new Omni hotel that’ll be connected to the convention center was approved. That should top out around 350’ (roughly same height as the Hyatt) so while it won’t be super tall, it’ll be in a very visible location and add something new to look at.
ETA my favorite is probably LA. It’s interesting how tightly packed it is given how spread out the city is. Really nice to view or photograph from a distance on a clear day when you can get the mountains in the background.

Toronto from Lake Ontario is pretty good.
Sydney, Australia
Calgary isn't half bad either

I’ll go with San Diego. Probably the nicest city in the US and the best weather
