Never watched him so couldn't tell you. One of the problems with tv news is they don't distinguish , newspapers do, althohnt they definitely put opinion in the news, they still have op ed sections.

The entire point of an op ed is to express an opinion with the weight of the authors reputation.

Publishing this as an anonymous op ed to attack an administration, low even for this trash rag.

That is a ridiculous comparison because
A) we know who is making the claims when Hannity speaks
B) they are passing this op ed off as “news” by saying it is from inside White House.
This is bull shite and you should be ashamed.

Hannity has always been opinion

Plus, everyone that makes a claim has their dace right there on YV, for the world to see. Unlike the failing NYT

"Lodestar"....is Pence the traitor??
Let's give that some thought.
A person decides to write an ANONYMOUS article. He does not want to be identified. He is known for using the unusual term "lodestar" in speeches. Would he use the term "lodestar" in the op-ed? I guess if he is a complete blithering imbecile he might.

Look at it another way.
What could be more treacherous than a VP attempting to undercut the POTUS so he could take over? Pence didn't write that piece. Whoever wrote that could never be POTUS. The NYT would own him forever via the threat of revelation. It would be the WatersportsPeeDossier potential extortion on steroids.

Instead, whoever wrote that was not just targeting Trump, but Pence as well. "Lodestar" was a deliberate plant. Frankly, this thing has John Brennan's prints all over it. But, if we are to take the NYTimes at its word, "the writer is a senior official in the Trump administration." Interestingly though, they didn't say the author was "a senior official in the Trump administration," did they?

Hannity is the "true resistance" against the Swamp, he's one of the few people out there with the means to assist Trump in dismantling the D.C. Brothel.

I just find it hilarious that every time something like this comes out, Trump’s approval rating goes up. Almost like people are growing evermore tired of the left’s bullshite.

Furthermore, the NYT stopped being credible a very long time ago.

Given the biased newspaper banner under which this op ed was released, why even accept it’s authenticity on the surface without further validation?

Nah. He wouldn't be that dumb. Trump wrote it probably.

I was just about to ask about this. I wouldn’t be surprised if it was Trump. It wouldn’t be the first time he did something like that.

My money is on Jeff Flake - US Senate from Ariz. Been a vocal critic of Trump's since the jump, as he catered to his Hispanic base re: the wall, immigration, etc.

Bob Corker is my #2.

Actually it isn’t derangement at all. The OpEd piece ran and we are discussing its origin. There’s no derangement there. Trump himself is doing the same thing.

My theory is that tho OpEd was written by senior WH staff, with at least approval of Trump if not input, so that Trump can say it’s fake and attack the press. The same with the quotes in the Woodward book. WH staff were given the green light to make up all kinds of stuff, so that it would be quoted, to set up another attack on the press and portray Trump as a victim. The quotes are genuine and accurate, it’s just not clear whether the events described actually occurred. We have no way of knowing for sure.

But one thing we know is that Woodward, the Times and the Post are not fiction writers.

But if they can be fooled that easily, they’re not that great at reporting, are they?

Because the NYT’s reputation is beyond reproach. Sure, it’s clear that your fragile emotions prohibit you from recognizing this fact, but it’s as reputable of a source as we have. What do you find so controversial in the piece anyway?

But are they being fooled? The OpEd was presented to them written. They say it was presented by a known to them senior staffer. They ran it. They may have been manipulated, but if the provenance of the piece is established, they are running it properly.

Same with Woodward. If, for example, Kellyanne Conway actually relayed to him a story about something that happened in the White House, he gets the story from a first hand credible source. That’s good enough to print.

John Brennan or one of Comey's freaktoid looney lawyer blog friends set it all up. They added "Lodestar" so Trump would suspect his own VP.

It is not Nikki, It is PsyOps Brennan style.

Except for the fact it wouldn’t be included as an “op ed”. Stop trying to conflate journalism and opinion. It’s dangerous and hastens the downfall of our republic.
