Those two account’s posts, taken together, sound very questionable. Were I ICE, BP, whatnot; I’d be very uneasy on what to expect from them.
Surely the actual NG boots on the ground don’t feel that way? Hopefully?

I think it’s funny you don’t see why.
Law enforcement is under attack, and they don’t want to be a target either.

Sounds like they are saying they are specifically going to be there to protect the protestors (rioters) which is obviously insane.
It is insane. Protest is affirmatively protected in the constitution. The idea that federal agents are attacking nonviolent protesters is insane. They shouldn’t require protection.

They will get harassed just like ICE. These aren’t protests

Does this mean they are aiding and abetting known foreign sex traffickers, drug smugglers, fraudsters and illegals living in and around Minneapolis?
Is this really the hill they want to die on? (And of course I’m speaking metaphorically, as Minneapolis has no hills.)

They swore an oath to the constitution. And they are saying they will protect our freedom of speech. What’s the issue here?
For you simps who keep preaching federal power over state, you have no idea how our republic of states is supposed to work.

Time to charge these people with acts of insurrection. its incredible how EVERY.SINGLE.THING leftists do is about criminals and illegals. They have infinite funding and time to go nuts in favor of criminals and criminal illegals scamming the government. Its astonishing.
Name me a single thing the left has thrown a fit about that actually benefits American citizens. Name one thing.
The answer is there is nothing.

The suit, which goes on for 80 pages, begins with a long complaint about ICE’s mobilization in Minneapolis. It is “a federal invasion of the Twin Cities,” the suit reads, “driven by nothing more than the Trump administration’s desire to punish political opponents and score partisan points.” ICE’s actions “appear designed to provoke community outrage, sow fear, and inflict emotional distress,” the suit continues, “and they are interfering with the ability of state and local officials to protect and care for their residents.”
And so on. The lawsuit argues that the 10th Amendment “gives the state of Minnesota and its subdivisions, including the cities of Minneapolis and Saint Paul, inviolable sovereign authority to protect the health and wellbeing of all those who reside, work, or visit within their borders.”
It’s what a number of analysts have diplomatically called a “novel” argument. Minnesota is basically asking a judge to use the 10th Amendment to bar a federal law enforcement body, ICE, from enforcing federal immigration law in a city and state. It seems like a crazy argument, and it is. “What they’re asking is that the federal government cannot use their law enforcement authority in a city,” CBS legal analyst Joe Tamburino said. “It would be like asking the federal court to bar the FBI, the ATF, the U.S. Marshal Service, Secret Service.”
quote:
When asked whether there is legal precedent to do that, CNN analyst Elie Honig answered, “None. “There is no example … of a judge prohibiting a federal law enforcement agent from enforcing federal law in a given state. The reaction that we’ve heard from various Minnesota officials, including Attorney General Keith Ellison, when confronted with this lack of precedent and lack of case law, is essentially, ‘Well, this is really bad, though. Well, this is an invasion.’ There is plenty of dramatic language in the complaint, but that doesn’t change the legal calculus. You can’t just take a situation that has no legal precedent and no legal support and say, ‘Well, yes, but our situation is really, really bad, therefore we get to invent new law.’”
On Wednesday, a federal judge declined Minnesota’s request to issue a temporary restraining order against ICE. Next week, each side will have to make more detailed arguments. But don’t look for this to go very far. Meanwhile, the fight for the federal government’s right to enforce federal law goes on in Minneapolis and its surrounding areas.

The idea that federal agents are attacking nonviolent protesters is insane.
The idea that protestors think they can assault and harass federal agents without repercussion is insane. The idea that people would risk their lives over deporting illegal immigrants is insane. The idea that a state government encouraging it, to the extent of playing games with the national guard is reckless past the point of insanity.
Local law enforcement has been MIA, they have let this situation escalate, and now the state trying to create conflict of authority over military service members is another word. Either horrible or hostile leadership.
Seriously, if the state of Minnesota creates a situation in which the national guard are filmed fighting federal agents (which is what all of their messaging including the OP insinuates), how can that be tolerated by even the most casual observer that wants to live in a peaceful country? This is all on Walz, who happened to lose a bid to be VP, but is blaming it on Trumps hurt feelings. Madness.

This is so stupid on every level. They fighting Trump and not a damn cause. fricking it up for when we may need to really fight the cause. When they do come after us citizens again. You know for not wearing masks and attempting to go to church.. Let's not forget what true fascism is

Are we on the cusp of having 2 different uniformed military units engage each other for the first time in 161 years?

There's over 3000 masked armed Federal troopers on the streets of Minnesota and you folks complain about the Minnesota National Guard troops and their motives and jurdictions.
