I've always been for small government.
The boomers born around 1960 are very different than the ones 10-15 years older than us.
We were conservative and hard working and much more like Gen X.

To preserve the integrity of your family, you'll need to find a way to continue to love her despite your political differences. It'll promote family unity if you can learn to politely disagree w/o causing a fight.There'll be times when the best you can do is to change the topic. There might even be a time where you best option is to respectfully hold your thought. Too many families are being ripped apart by political differences. Your family is vastly more important than politics. I suspect many will disagree w/ this, and that's ok. OTOH, it's really painful to hear another parent (conservative) I know say their adult kids (liberal) "hate us" and "don't want to be around us" because of politics.

Im 71 Trump is a lier and everything else in between tell your Mom I’m with her . You people think Trump is God the old folks see thru him we have lived longer we know hard times the man has no morels you follow a Dictator who cares nothing about the Constitution I get if your Mom was able she would give you a good azz whipping .
