I know 12 couples who have adopted one or more children. Two of them are gay couples. There are far more people wanting to adopt than kids up for adoption.

Yeah. If only there were other methods readily available to prevent unwanted pregnancy before abortion is even a consideration.

1. Stop subsiding illegitimate births. Too easy to have a kid and have government support them, its created our great current state of society.
2. With DNA testing we can determine the fathers, ID the sperm donor and make him accountable for child support.
3. More than 3 kids and you are not paying child support, time for debt prison where you are forced to work to pay for your kids child support from the state. You don't get out until you are 1 year ahead in an escrow fund for your bastards.
Time for men to be responsible, and women to be smarter as to whom gets to have unprotected sex with.

I did and my younger sister in in charge of foster care placement in Texas. I also mentor parents considering or going through the adoption process. We obviously feel strongly about this.

I’m too old, at 60, but we would have (of) when we were younger. As it is, I plan to donate to folks who are willing to adopt.

What about the cases where the male actually wants the child to raise but had no voice in the matter?
