The government of T&T knew. You know how I know that? Because I knew. And if I knew, then practically everyone with sense knew that the purpose of the massive American buildup was regime change.
And if I didn’t take that very strong hint? Then I would have known by the reports in the media that Maduro was begging for an off ramp to avoid being deposed and captured.
The only question was if it would be surgical strikes to capture Maduro and his key henchmen, or a massive attack. And from reports there was not enough resources deployed for massive ground attacks.

Even more impressive is the fact that Trump HAD to have been told that he would be attacked regarding the legality of splashing those boats, and he chose to absorb those attacks to provide cover for the real mission. He is so thin-skinned, I would not have thought he would have agreed to anything like that, but he did. Double kudos to him for that.

Well we thought we fighting a drug war. But I knew obliterating 30, 40, 50 or 500 speed boats was not going to win the drug war. I thought something else was in the works. People on this forum thought we were just fighting a drug war. But I knew better. So here we are, the victors of Venezuela. With an increased focus on Columbia. Don't forget about Columbia.
