Not that it's necessarily relevant but that is a fairly nice neighborhood.

A jury in state court in MN is going to frick this ICE agent and a state judge will send away for a long time.
The consensus here was the same re Rittenhouse. Patience.

The woman was unjustified in hitting the ICE agent with her vehicle. Was ICE justified by "self defense" in shooting her? Hard to tell from that video.

I’m very much on ICE’s side. But this isn’t the supremacy clause.

Looks like that’s a justified shooting. She was trying to run him over

Performing federal work. No standing by state unless Fed did not follow protocol

The state of Minnesota may attempt to put him on trial, but they'll lose. Something about that pesky supremacy clause.

Very true, but the way they FEEL about the case may dictate its outcome…

Trump response if they attempt to arrest the ICE officer if the shooting is legit will be the Insurrection Act.

State of MN can't.

Any trial for a federal agent in performance of duties will not be allowed to remain in state court.

How so?
I am no certain, but I do not think there is any way the feds could stop Minnesota from charging anyone - including a federal agent - with a state crime.

There could theoretically be an argument based on the agent of the federal government acting within the scope of federal law
Interesting theory.
Is your posit based on the fact he IS a Federal Agent and WAS acting within the scope of Federal Law?
