I agree with this. Trump has a feral instinct for human nature. He trusts it completely. It has worked phenomenally well to get him to where he is, but because he trusts it implicitly and won’t be restrained, he has a lot of sour posts and statements. Before Trump, every national politician seemed like an actor and not genuine. It’s because they were actors, reading scripts. His genuine approach made him different, but there is a reason politicians had evolved to script-readers. It’s because off the cuff remarks will yield negative sound bites. With Trump they come in droves.
