No I.mean Russia. Putin wants him.gone. The current Armenian leader has made alot of recent moves to the west. He is pro western. He recently even met with Erdogan. That is unheard of. The Armenian government thinks that Russia screwed them in the latest war with Azerbaijan. If I am not mistaken Armenia and Azerbaijan have recently pulled out of the military alliance CTSO with Russia. Russia and Azerbaijan are currently having big time friction over Russia arresting Azerbaijan citizens in Russia and accusing them of being involved with mafia type crime and murders in Russia. Azerbaijan responded by arresting some Russians there and accused them of being spies. Azerbaijan has actually aided Ukraine in the war against Russia. Azerbaijan is a big ally with Turkey. Erdogan will use them to advance his own agenda against Iran and to stick it to Putin if he can.

While Erdogan plays out the anti Israel rhetoric for the masses in Turkey he actually has several "projects" going on with Israel. They anti Assad project in Syria and now the anti Iran project with Turkey's close ally Azerbaijan.

When he first came to power and staged his fake coup/Army purge he looked like a hard-core Islamist. But he really hasn't been. At least not to the expected degree.

The azzholes are the orthodox running around with yamulkes and starting shite with everybody. Christian, Muslim, Arab, European and even Sephardic.

They start shite, but they don't pay a price

That adds so much context to the entire regional conflict.

Erdogan is out for Erdogan. He will be your best friend one day and screw you the next. He buddies up to Putin and then sticks him whenever he gets a chance.

Trump and Erdogan talk quite often.

Armenia's leader is walking a tight rope. He is testing Putin's patience. Armenia is traditionally the most pro Russian region of all the former USSR states. Armenia has always had a very close relationship with Russia.

But Russia screwed them in the last war Armenia had with Azerbaijan over Nargano Karabakh. Russia had "peacekeepers" there to basically prevent what happened from happening. They had agreements to protect Armenia and they did nothing. Russia basically told Armenia you are on your own. Russia had pulled the troops out and sent them to Ukraine. Armenia was crushed and lost all of that land that they had controlled. Bad feelings were the result. There have actually been some talk about Armenia being interested in joining Nato.

I wanted to see what the trading relationship between Turkiye and Russia is so I googled it:

quote:

In 2022, Turkey's exports to Russia were US$9.34 billion, while its imports from Russia were US$58.85 billion, making Russia its top import partner, according to Turkey Analyst.

And from the worldbank website.

This must be driving the U.S. and NATO leaders crazy (Turkiye's trading partners). Probably mostly cheap Russian O&G:

If Israel destabilizing Turkey paves the way for the Hagia Sophia to become a church again, and for Istanbul to become Constantinople and Greek once more, I'm cool with it.

I despise the Turks, and how they usurped 1500 years of Christendom.

Hiyeva, Israel vs a NATO country is quite the thread to try and needle.

Turkey is NATO. That won’t happen.

Turkey missed its opportunity with the coup failure.

Part of being a good leader is know how far you can push until it becomes a negative.

Hitler was all about Germany first and he did very well until he went too far. That was his failure.

Aristotle's Golden Mean is always at play. Too much of a good thing is not a good thing.

Israel wants to see a middle east in ruins to make sure its existence goes on according to their logic.

No, they're planning to extend Greater Israel to as much of the Levant as they can, while transplanting its population to Europe and the USA.

Almost like they have an unholy alliance.

You realize how Israel treats Christians when they visit? It’s not good. When they eradicate Christians from their country we will never be back.

I have friends who have made several pilgrimages to the Holy Land. Definitely stricter security than you find in the USA, but hospitality is not their job. Far better than traveling to any neighboring countries.
