Holy shite, their internal polling must be terrible. We should have a fun thread figuring out how they will reverse themselves and or cheat the next time they get power. Can they win without cheating?

It could be that Democrats are finally realizing that the issue is extremely popular, even with the groups that they claim are being "victimized" by it.

Or, it could be some kind of bait and switch trap.

Democrats very rarely capitulate, almost no matter what. So I know which way I lean.

Either Epstein files have democrats by the balls or they are trying to sound ‘moderate’ for the midterms

That & they've realized they can just provide IDs for illegals in their blue states.

Dems aren't giving up that easily.

How hard it is to get ID’s in poor and rural communities is unreasonable.

You need identification to qualify for SNAP, Section 8, Obama phone, housing/utilities assistance and WIC. I'm certain that the "poors" already have the required credentials to continue to vote.

If not, how are they getting government assistance? Or, moreso, WHY?

Dems know they will still control the election process in the major cities. Even if IDs are required, dems know they will still be in charge of the process.

Nope, he got hit by reality by his own people last week on his show.

You could see it in his face. Maybe I’m wrong.

Just wish we had leaders that can be proactive in finding these ways. Unfortunately, there are distractions that don't matter in the grand scheme of improving the future, and we have to many who naively or nefariously fall for it.

Positive note...TX just won an appeal on ballot harvesting. Problem is with not being proactive, these things take years, ie election cycles, so take to long to get stopped.

Well, he's definitely in the minority because most Democrats say black folks are too stupid to aquire a photo I.D.
I guess that's the question to ask the black folks out there...would you be able to get a photo I.D. if needed to vote or is this something you simply cannot do on your own?

The Right naively believes everyone will follow the rules.

Even after all this they’ve too lazy to do their damn jobs.

We have way to many that don't/can't/want to see the evil in others.

It's a good vs evil battle, and the good needs to be able to get in the dirt to defend ourselves. We are opening our eyes to that, but will take time, if we can get the right ones to do it.

It likely is. From an August Pew Research Poll, ~83% of Americans approve of a voter ID. Digging into the numbers a bit show 95% of Republicans approve of it as well as 71% of Democrats.

Let me say that again: 71% of polled Democrats want a voter ID law.

From a recent Gallup poll, 84% of Americans support requiring photo identification to vote. This poll has the breakdown of:

-Republicans: 98% support
-Independents: 84% support
-Democrats: 67% support

Separately, 83% support requiring proof of citizenship when registering to vote for the first time.

A recent CNN poll looking more specifically at ID approval by race had white Americans at 85% favor, hispanic Americans at 82% and black Americans at 76%.

Let them keep fighting it though, especially as we get more and more info on 2020 voter fraud coming out. The Biden administration was so God-awfully bad for so many that it seems to have opened up a lot more people to the possibility/probability that he won only because of fraud. If that's true, that's going to continue to fuel the drive for a voter ID as more fraud is exposed and prosecuted (that's the real key, needing to get people sentenced and see some perp walks to drive home that the fraud really did happen).

Well he should be in favor because many that shouldn't be voting are negating legitimate votes that impact the black community.
