Has Mel Tucker worked since being terminated “for cause” from Michigan State…?

Bro Mel Tucker sexually harassed a sexual assault prevention employee. He jacked off on the phone with her without her consent. That’s next level crazy shite there.
Yeah, he was fired “for cause.” It’s always serious allegations. LSU has raised it without any specifications and BK has called them out to the carpet.
In typical LSU fashion, they’ve totally fricked this up and they look like absolute morons that have no clue what they’re doing.

Just a ploy to make him look like the victim

Kelly put more effort in finding his lawyers than his OC

I think he is claiming that since LSU has not confirmed he was fired "without cause" other schools are afraid to hire him because of the unknown potential "for cause" reason.

I'd argue his coaching is hindering our championship search so call us even.

He had a bad year and has looked bad based on reports of his behavior over the last year, but guy still went 10-3, 10-4 snd 9-4 in his first 3 years.
The fourth went haywire, sure, but his history still shows he is a good coach overall. Plenty of actual awful coaches got rehired even after being fired multiple times.
Hell, Bielema was trashed for what happened at Arky and now he is doing well again at Illinois.
Someone will hire him (maybe not for $10 million per year, but he can easily get $5 -$6 million per at a P4 program.

I think what he is saying is that LSU's refusal to state that he was not fired for cause is hindering his job prospects. The reasoning is that schools are hesitant to hire someone if they do not know the reason for their firing.
He won over 70% of his games at LSU and over 65% of his SEC games. While we may not have liked the product on the field, plenty of teams would take those winning percentages.
And I am glad he is gone.

Right, but a lot of these folks have already decided that LSU did something wrong…because Brian Kelly’s attorneys said so. The messaging was clearly effective.
If he had a deal worth taking it would already be in the works, or it could be clearly demonstrated that the hesitation is because of LSUs ambiguity and there would be no point in this letter.

No

It’s more like they brought a gun because they said LSU pulled a knife. We haven’t seen the knife.

Very interesting on Locked on LSU, Moscona said Kelly HAS to be looking for work, he can't sit and do nothing while collecting the buyout.
I've never heard that before.

After seeing what a piece of work his son is, no one wants him shaping their young men

He’s required to look for a job per his contract to offset buyout. But he’s lazy

If he hasn't been terminated then he's under no duty to mitigate.

Did you not see every press conference after a loss? He always blamed everyone else for his deficiencies.

He wasn’t our first choice
Or even 2nd…

Easy - so there is no mitigation of his buyout money.

Nothing hinders the job search if the school thinks you are going to win.
