But you also know you can't have a Cruise movie without it. It wouldn't feel complete.

Remember in the old days when there jokes galore about Rocky making over a dozen movies?

This just reminds me of those. How many Mission Impossible movies are there?

Are they finally going to reckon? I have my doubts.

I can't believe this has been going on for so long but it's been pretty good the whole way through the series.

man when they stop making these movies - that is gonna suck, cause even when they are bad, they are enjoyable.

I watched all of the MI films before Dead Reckoning, I may have to do it again before this one.

Never! He'd only do that if the government disavowed him, and how likely is that?

The way they completely recreated this series after MI3 is just wild.

1 was good but kind of a slow burn

2 was off the rails bad

3 wasn't too bad.

but since then its been nonstop awesome.

Here's the weird part. Aside from the second movie, which was memorable for all the wrong reasons, I have really enjoyed this whole series. In the moment, in the theater watching them, they have been awesome. I know that. And yet, for some reason, I really can't separate them and recall what happened in each of them individually.

I know Phillip Seymore Hoffman was great and the switch with him was cool. I know that Henry Cavill was great and the bathroom fight sequence was insane. I know Kerri Russell was in one and died unexpectedly at the start. But overall I just have difficulty not morphing all of these movies together.

I know I enjoyed the last one and remember Hayley Atwell being in it and the villain was Ritchie Vallens' brother from La Bamaba and there was a cool train sequence at the end, but that's about it.
