Yeah this is a typical GM move to shed blame from their frickups. The GM/ownership went all in on Watson and it crippled them.

yeah its pretty tough to grade him given what he's had to work with, the watson disaster made this inevitable

He was supposed to be an offensive guru who hasn’t been able to put together a competent offense while there. He was carried by his defense and Nick Chubb most of the time. He brought in a guy who was an MVP candidate in Watson and turned him into one of the worst QBs in the league. It was time to move on.

He made the playoffs twice in 6 years giving Cleveland.....2 playoff appearances in the last 20 years. 3 in the last 30.

No thanks. He's had some success with Cleveland, as losing two playoff games and a 45-56 record counts as success in Cleveland. Plus he's from Philly, so no to all of that.
