Frankly if we end up with 1 of those 3 we should all sleep well Thursday night.

I wouldn't mind Delane or Downs. I think it would really help solidify the backend of the defense.

Tyson - I wouldn't be ecstatic, but I'd be hopeful. I think Kellen Moore has earned some trust so if he's in . . . I guess I'm in (at least at first).

He’s not going in the first… would be scary to even take him with a 2nd tbh

Any of those would be solid picks. Tyson is probably the best receiver in the draft so if he stayed healthy that would be a very good weapon for Shough.

That tweet says nothing. Their job is sad. I would be embarrassed to put that crap out there. That’s not any information so why say anything at all?

Well, to be fair, Schrager didn’t tweet it. Some dude who listened to his podcast did.

Tyson injury history may be tough to overcome
If Downs gets to Saints I would pull the trigger

If Tyson didn't have the injury concerns, he would go in the top 5. You are betting on his upside if you pick him at 8.

That “doctor report” shows a serious medical issue

That, and he's seen as a guy who doesn't like contact. If you are comparing he and Tate to Saints WR Tyson seems more like Olave, while Tate seems more like Mike Thomas (though not as strong). Both guys have big hands and were good at making catches in traffic. However, they weren't track speed burners.

It seems cliche, but it feels like a "tie" would go to the Ohio State player. The Saints have had good success with OSU guys over the last 10 years (all drafted had multiyear production as starters). That is, unless, Moore wants a different type of WR.

That’s the problem for Tyson at 8…. You’re not looking to make a “bet”, you’re looking for the sure thing. Especially when it’s a top heavy draft like this year

Has he ever stayed healthy? You simply can not risk the 8th pick in a draft on a player that can not be relied on to play. Ignoring his injury history is folly

What specifically in his injury history worries you going forward?

Knee surgery, broken bones, hamstrings that he took forever to heal from.

What doesn’t worry you is the bigger question? This dude, for all his talent and toughness, has been dealing with injuries that either kept him off the field or hindered his play.

We are selecting at 8. Not 15, not 26, not 32. 8

You can not risk that premium of a selection on a player with incredible risk of not being on the field

Tyson may end up being the better player, but I think Tate fits better with Olave. He’s a bit bigger, makes contested catches, good route runner. No injury concerns.

Tyson may end up on the field half the time. And with Olaves concussion history, I’d rather we make the safe bet. Tyson seems like a great gamble once you get into the teens.

Underhill just confirmed those 3 on his latest pod as well as their top 3. He and Trip swapped Downs and Delane though. They both think the Saints would take Downs over Delane.

No WR was going top 5 in this draft. Mendoza/ Love/ Bailey/ Reese should be gauranteed top 5. Styles/ Downs are way more likely for the Giants now that they can take a WR #10. The first WR would go to CLE at #6 and they may still take OL.

Commanders would have to pass up on Styles/ Downs to take a WR which is possible but not likely.

The Saints could go WR but would be passing on Downs/ Bain/ Delane which I also don't see as likely.

There's still a good chance Tyson/ Tate end up #9-#11 between the Chiefs/ Giants/ Dolphins
