With how awful he played, how many decent P4 teams would actually even be interested? The market for him his probably so low it’s probably better to stay and try to improve than to go and potentially flounder for a low end P4 or G5 school.

With Calloway entering that leaves us with: B. Moore providing he stays, Khayree Lee
Khayree Lee entered his name in portal as well. He was the 7th OL to enter.
Rest of your list is correct.

Weston is making a ton of NIL already. That is why.

I agree with this, and don’t give me this good riddance, addition by subtraction theory. No way they could have anticipated such an exodus, not from a financial standpoint not from a roster standpoint

Adams and Curne would be welcome back with open arms in my opinion.
Seems like this is more about NIL than their ability to contribute in 2026. Bot h guys are keepers IMO at the right price

Thomas is going to be good. Would be nice to have him and Curne at Guard
Posted on 1/2/26 at 7:21 pm to DRock88
I hope you are right because I’d love to keep Curne and Adams.

To say you don't care if they all leave is a little short sighted. I'm hoping maybe a couple return. We still need depth if they aren't ready to start and with anew coach and OC and Kiffen there are a few that could probably improve. Gotta figure it's a $$ thing although I'm sure there were some that were processed.

Because he's a 5* with 5* size and athletic traits. Maybe, just maybe, the new staff sees a lot to work with and want to keep him. Maybe Davis loves LSU.
You freaking idiots want to blame BK (rightfully), Brad Davis AND all of our OL for being busts. Are both possible? Yes, but not likely. These kids have talent unless every freaking coach and recruiting site were wrong about them coming out of HS.
Best case would have been to keep all but 2 or 3 of the 2025 OL and bring in 3-4 portal studs. As it stands, do we even have enough OL left to field a starting 5. If that's what you wanted, you're a f- ing moron.

Was the O line being flogged after every game, play or not?
Posted on 1/2/26 at 7:50 pm to GrizzlyWintergreen
Ha! Yeah, all of them. No cut and paste for the roster link.

You answered your own question. This is an orchestrated effort by our current OL and their collective angents/handlers. If they all leave it drives up their price to return to LSU. Continuity matters with some exception, I’m sure Kiffin would prefer most guys with SEC starts to stay.

Has LSU been in contact with any OL in the portal? It's pretty bare compared to other position groups at least with big names. We need some OL bad.
Posted on 1/2/26 at 7:54 pm to ParIV
Ha! This is turning out to be more entertaining than I thought.

worth every penny if they are good.
I can’t believe that this is what college athletics has become. I wonder if SCOTUS contemplated the Pandora’s Box they would open when they ruled on the NCAA NIL case. And we are just getting started.

He actually had a much improved grade in the bowl game. Considering the lack of progress for most of the season, it was something. He’s got a lot of athletic ability if the new coaches can get him to harness it and learn technique and footwork
Not surprised to see Calloway leaving when he couldn’t get on the field with all the Tackle injuries this year. Ory Williams had clearly passed him up as the primary backup.

Most people didn't have a problem retaining Frank. The rumors about his departure are what turned most fans against him.
Everyone recognizes Davis as an issue, from him simply not being a good coach to the implications of being Woodward's mole.

Also you have to remember these guys were making something so when they leave it clears up space.

Well, think about the OL coach that was not retained. We talk about about Frank Wilson, but maybe the real cancer was Davis?
This organization was mismanaged from top to bottom over the last 4-6 years

You replace those baws like this: This a hypothetical list, but can be the same (or close to it) with whoever Kiffin pays from the transfer portal. They will be as good as the players I have listed below
List below shows holdovers, 2 high school baws, 5 transfers, and Curne comes back (Total 14 O-Line...enough players)
1. Braelin Moore C
2. Weston Davis RT
3. Solomon Thomas LT
4. Tyler Miller LG
5. Brysten Martinez RG (High School Freshman)
6. Bo Bordelon
7. Brett Bordelon
8. Ryan Miret (High School Freshman)
9. Transfer- Brendan Black (Iowa State) 6’4” 325 OG, 3-year starter
10. Transfer- Nyier Daniels (Georgia) 6’8” 345 OG,
11. Transfer- Lance Heard (Tennessee) 6’6” 330 LT, 2-year starter (Ex-LSU Freshman)
12. Transfer- Xavier Chaplin (Auburn) 6’7” 348 OT, 2-year starter
13. Transfer- Andrew Sprague (Michigan) 6’8 320 OG, 2-year starter, All Big-Ten
14. Carius Curne Withdraws out of portal & settles money with LSU
Now- Look at starters and backups for 2026 (Great Starting 5 & Good mix of backups) Mucho better than 2025!
LT- Lance Heard- 6’6 330 Xavier Chaplin- 6’7” 348
LG- Brendan Black- 6’4 325 Carius Curne- 6’5” 334
C- Braelin Moore- 6’3 310 Brysten Martinez- 6’5 315
RG- Solomon Thomas- 6’6 340 Tyler Miller- 6’5” 340
RT- Andrew Sprague- 6’8” 320 W. Davis- 6’7” 325 N. Daniels- 6’8” 345
With 2 Bordelon’s and a Miret in the back of the bench
