First of all we got real spoiled by the 2019 season! We had Burrow who was fricking mean and competitive and coach O, who was the same. We need a couple of guys to be that way, but not necessarily Kelly. I know Tom Landry was coaching the Cowboys before many of you were watching but he was for the most part a complete gentleman and stoic on the sidelines. But his teams were disciplined, aggressive and played with an edge. Controlled violence and aggression, he has to get the players who have that emotional makeup and let them roll.

That’s why LSU went out and got Jack Pyburn

If, by "nasty streak", you mean talent, then yes. We lack it

I don’t know why everyone is jumping on you and downvoting you. Legit question.
Last years team had a senior led offensive line loaded with NFL talent and played soft.
Had last years O-line played with grit and had a nasty streak we easily run the ball on USC and win that game running away. With a good running attack we pound the rock in the 2nd half and beat A&M. We are in the playoffs last year with a team that played physically dominate with a nasty streak.

That’s exactly what I am saying. The defense getting a huge sack and saying suck it… we are going to do it again and you can’t say no to us doing it.

Hoping Kyle Williams has a major impact here. Tenacity along with discipline. A major improvement in the D line will only help the other groups.

We lacked high end talent at key positions (DB, DL, and IOL). The other crap you mentioned was not the issue.

Trying to create drama like a middle school girl . Worthless post.

Tommy Moffitt drove that energy. It’s not the same.

I think we will be nastier this year.
Go listen to Pyburns pod, I feel that dude is gonna bring a mean steak to the defense.
I don’t know who brings the mean steak on offense but I suspect Sharp at TE might be that guy.

If we can get you into the locker room pregames no doubt we’ll have that fire we need that youre looking for

No. Execution wins games. Not some fabled subjective measure. We didn’t give up chunk plays because we weren’t emotional enough.

Perhaps the cuckiest thing I’ve read on here

I asked a question. Never stated anything.
You asked a question in a way that stated you believe this team lacks a nasty streak.

Anyone else
Unless you were asking for a friend. Or you had a skeptical mouse in your pocket.

We used to own that energy. We broke teams with it. But these last few years? It hasn’t felt like we’ve imposed our will the way we used to
When was this?

You mean the "it"!
if they win, the team will have "it"
if they lose, they wont have "it"

Based on his career I’d say he doesn’t
