He's making a BIG mistake coming back. He's an easy 1st round pick in a scorpion shite draft for QBs. He'll come down to earth, be average at best, and be drafted in round 5-7. Literally Nuss 2.0
4 confirmed morons.

Right, so now, why cant they say, if you play him, thats fine, but you wont be eligible for the cfp? I doubt a court can fix that

Would be hilarious if Deuce Knight would get a judge to let him walk off now that he won't start

He doesn’t need a judge, he can just unenroll and re-enroll if he wants to go that route.

Heck I watched how the judge himself was leading Trinidad on what to say. I’m all for him getting another year, don’t think it’s the best thing for him. However this was an absolute sham case. Judge being an Ole Miss guy and feeding the player what to say - Trinidad was “confused” and admitted to what the NCAA was claiming but then changed his story when pressed by his lawyers and the Judge

I don’t know if Duece Knight expected to play, but that’s done now.

Too bad for them, the two guys who designed that offense and made it what it was are no longer there.
Don't need much coaching when you have the best qb and best rb in the league

The NCAA is a private membership association.
How can a judge tell a private membership organization how to run itself?

Judge = Ole Miss grad
Lawyers = Ole Miss grads
Lead lawyer = Founder/Counsel Ole Miss NIL and Ole Miss grad

He’d just get another year.

He is dumb for coming back with the weak draft class
And without Kiffin and a new OC. NCAA was doing him a favor making him go pro.

I’m not going to pretend LSU wouldn’t do the same thing if they were in this situation, but even if they did, this is just what football in the South is all about.
That said, the kid clearly has strong ties to the Ole Miss camp, and they weren’t left with many options. Sure, this is a somewhat theatrical way of securing a player’s eligibility, and I can understand why they’re treating it as a moral victory after losing Lane. They’re going to ride this wave for as long as they can.
Whatever. I was pretty bitter when the news broke three hours ago, but at the end of the day, I’ll embrace good football in the fall.
Even though his medical redshirt case is a rare one, it’s hard not to think this situation has created some tension with the NCAA. Ole Miss will likely be under close scrutiny for a long time.

Good. I don’t want those bitch arse Ole Miss fans to have a single excuse when LSU and Lane comes to town in September and whips that arse.

I’ll give him credit, he came out of nowhere and had a really good season. The problem is 2 of the main people behind that really good season aren’t there anymore.
Why he wouldn’t take advantage of being a hot name in a weak QB draft class is beyond me.

Claiming mono in 2020 kept him from playing in 2022 when he was the 3rd string qb. Oh by the way he practiced and didn’t miss any team activities that year. Some debilitating injury that was!
NCAA didn’t put up much of a fight, but the fix was in on this one. I guess overall it’s good for college football and the bottom line.

I don't understand this decision
He had a very very real chance to go top 5. The QB class is incredibly weak

ETA: Sorry, it seems like you’re talking about the team eligibility and not really his, in which case only the second point would apply.
