I'm going to assume the contract thing is a joke, but my wife was back to her pre-pregnancy weight about a month after our child was born. She only gained about 20 lbs though.
ETA: I was talking to my wife about this the other day, of all the women we know who are around our age that have had children, only 3 of them have gained significant weight (out of probably 2 dozen or more people). I don't know if that's "normal" or what, but I don't recall that being the case when I was growing up (I do run in a different social circle now than I did when I was growing up though).

My wife has always been on the skinny side. She's just one of those people that doesn't put on weight easily. I was like that when I was younger but not anymore unfortunately

Slightly bigger chest, bigger hips, less arse, less thighs

They need to discuss this more than any ‘baby weight’
As for me, there’s about 15 lbs I’ve been needing to lose for 6 years

Is your friend an ag like you? If so, he should consider himself lucky that he isn’t fricking a sheep.

Yep. I have an uncle that never wanted kids and he married a woman that did want a family. I have no clue why she married him but you can guess how that ended. Seems like a pretty important topic to discuss before entering into a marriage

Every part of life is great and we’re not meant to stay who we were years ago. Life changes and so do we with along with it. Your friend probably shouldn’t be a father.
So much this! Most people gain some weight as they age including your dickhead friend! There's a lot more to life than looking perfect.

Yea she went right back to original weight. That’s where she wanted to be and I supported her every second until she got back to original weight.
Paid for gym membership, cut out my bad eating habits around her, took time to exercise daily with her.
Having children is tough enough. I don’t need a fat girl in my life.

Haven’t had kids yet but mine suddenly gained a lot of weight a year ago and couldn’t figure out why. She didn’t feel herself and wouldn’t hardly eat trying to lose it but she couldn’t.
She spent a ton of money going to specialists to figure out what was wrong and why she couldn’t drop it. Finally found some skin cancer on the back of her leg. Got it removed, and she dropped 40 lbs in 2 months and is 20 lbs away from her normal weight. I guess the cancer messed up her metabolism
Anyways I feel confident she would drop any weight gained after we have kids. The work she put in to figure out what was wrong tells me she doesn’t accept being overweight

Before your friends kids are school age he will spend his Sunday afternoons driving to meet his ex-wife and her new boyfriend to drop off the kids after his monthly weekend visitation.
If he’s lucky.

If you have to have a contract with someone about having kids when one person doesn’t want them…
You should not be married
You should not be married
