Been to Mexico a number of times, so yes I have had some negative interactions.

What's the trick? Just stick out the amount of cash you want to spend and they take it after a few confused looks?

Quite often in the hospital when they don’t have insurance or understand English, it’s a huge problem

If someone is desperate to sell,they might just do that. We wanted to get rid of it but wasn't going to get hosed on the sell when we were already listing it for a few grand less than the book value.

I recently had some work done at my home (external garage and re-roofing). The mexican framers, roofers and concrete men were the most hard working. They got stuff done. I bought them lunch every day. Maybe that helped.
Moreso than some of the "US Citizens" that did the electrical, bricklaying, etc.

I went to a US Mexico soccer game and that was not a fun experience. Mexican soccer fans are some of the most trash fans you will ever encounter. It was in LA and the majority were probably Mexican-American though, to be honest.
