Mine went up to $27 also, logged on to cancel and they offered $8/month. Told them no and they proceeded to cancel. I told them I changed my mind and $8 was good.

Wow congrats on saving $2 a month

It’s the principality of the shite, Smokey.

I had 2 lifetime accounts and those frickers burned one, and tried to burn the other until I realized it. I just use the app on my phone in my jeep. It was a part of the lifetime sub.

It’s also not having to worry about dealing with them for 3yrs.

I used to have XM for years since it was new until about 2022. But Spotify premium is a better deal for me. I can tailor it to the Playlist i want. I have podcast and pretty much every song with no fillers

I just got off the phone with "Bud" AKA Hajipesh Patel.

I called to let my subscription expire on 04/06/26. I paid 4.00 x 12 last year.

Auto renews at a rate of $25.99 per month.
$21.66 base price
$4.33 royalty fee

Big NOPE!

Offered $9.99 x 12. NOPE! Told me to let him check. Came back at $5.99 x 12. NOPE!

A week or so after it expires I will get a mailer offering $4.00 x 12. Then I will renew.

I gave up on playing this game with sirius, the discounts would even out after they'd get me on the month I forgot to fake cancel

I wasn't really listening to it much so why bother

I don’t know how it happened, but at peak of career and money making we somehow forgot that siriusXM existed and we listen to FM radio with commercials. Meanwhile, we (wife) spends endless money on useless shite.

They did the same to me...$9.99 to $7.99 and that was it. I went through the chat function, so maybe that was a mistake.

Two subscriptions, 20+ years a customer

I still cancelled mine...$8 a month ($16 for two) will still be close to $20 after they add in the royalty fees, taxes, etc. That's where I was before the latest increase.

I've got until April 15th until the subscription ends. Holding out hope that I get a better offer.

All y'all are overpaying. My subscription is free for something like 3 years.

All I had to do was buy a $70k GMC truck. They threw in Sirius for free.

Did this back in the 90's after buying a used Toyota extended cab truck. Dealer even bought the radio because they didn't come in new cars or trucks back then. Bought a used Chevy truck with a Sirius radio back in 22 and the dealer wouldn't budge on a subscription but got 3 months free. Now paying too much will go the cancel route cause my wife wants it for her vehicle. Thanks for the ammo.

$4.99/month plus tax for another year

The compression on dynamic range that satellite radio employs has made me just about give up listening to any music on it.

Mrs Füt (no pics) & I were returning home last Saturday night from dinner listening to XM 28 and “Eminence Front” by The Who came on, it’s got a wonderful 2:00 lead-in.

When the song first started, I said to her to listen carefully and I’ll play another version.

At 2:00 minutes into it I then told Siri to play the same song from Apple Music. The wife said it was like listening to AM versus FM radio.

She was right. Worth noting: Entwistle’s bass is wonderful on it.
