Yes I agree most women should be banned from using roundabouts!

People are idiots when it comes to roundabouts, but in general, in low to moderate traffic areas they are superior to other intersection designs when drivers use them properly. For smaller roads you can eliminate 4-way stop signs and make traffic flow better and save fuel by minimizing stops.
In Baton Rouge the circle at Government/Lobdell was a huge upgrade over the stoplights.

southerners simply cannot grasp.
Add Asians, Africans and Latinos to the list. I have 7 roundabouts on one road, in 6.3 miles. The roundabouts have been there since the road opened, about 7-8 years ago. Still, locals that live in the neighborhoods right next to it act confused.

Putting these in small Louisiana towns where the populous doesn't have the driving ability or IQ is a recipe for disaster.
They put one at the !-49 exit in Natchitoches and it is completely unnecessary.

You know what really grinds my gears?

This happened recently in Ellic. The house that got hit had no insurance, nor did the idiot driver. Home owner has visqueen covering the missing bricks.

I like roundabouts. Traffic moves faster.

When they rebuilt the bridge at the Appling exit on I20 close to where I live they installed roundabouts at the ramps. I don't know if that's common in other places but I had never seen it before. I was doubtful as heck about it but it actually seems to work pretty well really

Idiots stopping in the middle as a courtesy to let someone it.
My MIL does this, but she is 80 so she gets confused.

That reminds me of the guy who used to be on the radio years back. I can't remember his name but he used to start of his schtick with "you know what makes me sick" or something of the sort. I know someone here will remember this.

Idiots stopping in the middle as a courtesy to let someone it. Treating it as an intersection with four-way stop signs. People just running through it while I have to slam on my brakes to not get hit. It’s an every day occurrence at the small one I used daily.
This is why I just use the right lane to pass everyone up, then merge back on over, and don’t have to worry about driving behind the dumb people any longer.

I wonder how long you could just go around in circles on one until a cop shows up to tell you to stop

While I don't disagree that we're surrounded by idiots, it is the roundabouts (known as traffic circles in some parts of the country) that need to be banned.
They do absolutely NO good and create a ton of problems!

I work on the construction of many roundabouts. You wouldn’t believe how many people pull up and ask which way to go.
Then one idiot will turn and go clockwise around it. And every car behind him will follow. It’s crazy.
If you think roundabouts are confusing to people, then check out diverging diamonds.

Maybe she shouldn't be driving anymore?!?!

Where I live in Lacey, WA, they have multiple roundabouts, and they are wonderful. They have added two within 2 miles of my house in the past 10 years to ease traffic flow.
BR needs one at the corner of Lee & Hyacinth. Without a left turn arrow at that light, it has been a shite show since I was a kid in the 80s. A few years ago I was back in town and saw that nothing had changed in over 40 years, except more traffic.
My taxes are high in WA, but the roads are good.
