He received a total of $4.6 million for his spying.
Really not much money for what he did.

We are just too darn soft on murderers, rapists, and child abusers, in addition to spies
I saw a video earlier where some drunk/high clown ran from cops with his girlfriend and 2 young kids in the back. He crashed and killed the girlfriend. That POS only got 5 years.

He was the one who burned Oleg Gordievsky.

Still blows my mind that he selected a spot so close to his own house off Tailsman Dr to leave material for the Russian
I can see the logic. Pick a location you can explain being at easier than some random spot 10 miles away you have no business at.

Here's how it's going to go down obviously we're moving on Greenland and Cuba's going to fall into our hands then we're going to move everybody from Puerto Rico that garbage island to Cuba and turned Puerto Rico into Escape From New York
That way we can ship off US citizens just like we can foreign Nationals to permanent prison
US soil farm to table
It's all on us soil that's the trade-off

I really can't argue this, but I have to think that his life in that max security prison was a pretty shitty experience. I think he was allowed 1 hour outside per day. I think I'd rather be shot by a firing squad.
Given he was at an FCI and not a USP, he was in a medium security prison.

I was thinking about how diabolical he was considered and how he was despised universally. If it happened now, there would be rallies in his defense and Jimmy Kimmel would cry on tv and Reddit would erupt in Pokemon Progressive hysteria. This country has completely lost the script.

quote:Rudolf Hess got life in Spandau Prison. He apparently died by suicide in 1987 but many people say the Russians Epsteined him because he had been the only prisoner in there for over 20 years and they got sick of watching him.
As such he was convicted of war crimes and sentenced to 20 years, the longest prison term of any German.

No,,that was "Breach" about Robert Hansaan.
I just looked it up because it sounds like a movie I would like. For those who are interested it can be watched on Apple and Amazon videos? But I think you have to pay to rent it.
Also, you can rent it here on youtube

God hates a traitor…..and a coward

In Dantes Inferno The 9th Circle of a Hell is reserved for traitors. Probably the most evil thing a human being can do.

That piece of shite should have swung over 30 years ago.

ill be honest if I was in the CIA or whatever I would 110% give all kinds of shite to the Russians. Get to be a spy AND get large amounts of cash handed to me. Absolutely that would rule .

Should have been executed

Interesting reading up on this guy is that he didn’t really give the Soviets direct US secrets. He mostly just outed to the KGB all the traitor Soviets that the CIA had compromised.
I’ve always thought spying is mostly useless nowadays. We already have satellites in place to detect troop movements. The flow of information is too fast to keep anything really secret.
And as far as using CIA for preventative measures…They sure didn’t help CIA to stop Pearl Harbor or 9-11.
I suppose they helped in getting Maduro though.
