What if I told you the U.S. is on pace to have fewer overall deaths in 2020 than in 2019?

They attack him for the deaths then attack him for jobs lost. If they have a better plan then they should have shared it with there friends in NY . They a big reason for the deaths and jobless.

"I trust other countries numbers, especially China, because I'm a fricking moron who has no idea how the world works."

https://www.nytimes.com/2020/05/08/world/americas/mexico-coronavirus-count.html

"MEXICO CITY — The Mexican government is not reporting hundreds, possibly thousands, of deaths from the coronavirus in Mexico City, dismissing anxious officials who have tallied more than three times as many fatalities in the capital than the government publicly acknowledges, according to officials and confidential data."

Italy, France, Spain, you know, countries with "great healthcare" got fricked, too.

It's just a matter of actually reporting the real numbers.

It’s the one time he listened to “the experts” and he continues to get beat up about it.

The day patient zero landed in Seattle and began the spread of the virus was the same day Nancy walked the peachmint papers to the senate she had been holding.

Just a coincidence.

Those numbers would be a lot different if every country tested at the same rate.

Biden's 7 point plan is to basically do everything Trump is doing but do it better

If they would handle it like they did with H1N1 by suspending testing the number of cases and deaths as a result would align with the rest of the world rather quickly.

Trying to pin 210k deaths on Trump is pathetic and I don’t think it’s effective. People inherently don’t like a “Monday morning QB”.

Majority think it has been mishandled. Numbers dont lie.

That said we are for sure more honest on the numbers than other places and we may be over counting.

And the deaths are just a part of the situation. Economy matters also. And we have a pesky item called the constitution that gets in the way of communist top down orders. So I think America is unique in that way and it hasn't been great. A mixed bag at best.
A vaccine developed by our companies would make a much stronger case for competency.

Without corona this is an easy landslide. With corona it is going to be tough. This has given dems a chance to hammer corona and healthcare.

No. The predictions were for 500,000 to 2.1 million deaths.

You're an idiot. Seriously, this bullshite is tiring and anybody that really believes what you posted is hopelessly retarded.

Do other countries count suicide deaths as "Covid deaths?" Do they? Answer that question.

Do other countries count people that died in car accidents as "COVID deaths? Do they?

Do other countries count decedents who were never tested for the virus as "COVID deaths?" Seriously, answer this question.

Do other countries count people that died of cancer, heart disease, or a host of all other causes of death as "COVID deaths?"

The "scorekeeping" on COVID has been a f'n joke in this country. And why it matters most is all the BS "data" has given idiot Lefties cover for lockdowns and restrictions that are more lethal than the virus itself.

You're a f'n idiot.

yes they just spout 200k, they are rt in those figures but dont give context on what he didnt do.

My thing with this is exactly how they feel, a caller on cspan said he needs to stop being a dictator.

If he was a dictator we would have less reported deaths, or we would have had forced quarantines.

yet none of them can give an answer on what they wanted him to do.

We had a bunch of deaths at the beginning when new York let it rerun rampant in nursing homes

That has zero to do with trump and everything to do with those governors.

Compare flu with COVID-19:
If you catch the flu and have a heart attack, you died of a heart attack.
If you catch COVID-19 and have a heart attack, you die of COVID-19.
COVID-19 is this year's flu, but they are counting ALL deaths as COVID, if the person tested positive for COVID.
This is a disgrace to our country and medical field.

Well, the NE Journal of Medicine is now running hit pieces about Trump's handling of Covid now. The article mentioned it affecting poc disproportionately and even said that we aren't testing as much as other countries when we have tested waaaay more than anyone. Holding up Chinese stats as truth as well. I mean, outright lies are just put out as fact now and people just go right along with it. I don't understand.

One of the best lines of the night was when Pence turned her criticism around to a criticism of the American people. “The American people have done EVERYTHING asked of them during this pandemic”. Brilliant.
