They are probably gone by now.

It seems like natural immunity and vaccines are paralleling each other at about 6ish months and then waning immunity for the next several months.

Where are the stats on those with confirmed natural immunity getting reinfected? I don’t know a single person that’s had the virus getting reinfected.

For reinfection, yes. Lots of reinfections and breakthrough cases with Omnicron. But both vaccinations and natural immunity seem to be working rather well against severe complications.

ate at a pretty big gathering for Christmas. The hostess of the party tuned up positive today. So I will also report back on omicron pretty soon I guess.

I really don’t see how anyone will escape omicron, and that’s probably a good thing.

Not if the media has anything to say about it.

They will fear porn the shite out of it in order to keep the control.

Hospitalizations and mortality rates for breakthrough infections aren’t significantly different for the vaccinated versus the unvaccinated.

There was a pretty big gap with delta, but omicron clearly doesn’t care much about the vaccine.

Doesn’t seem like it cares much to make people sick enough to have to go to the hospital either.

I do if you believe the test at the start of the pandemic were 100% accurate. The person tested positive in April of 2020 and 2021 but the second time around they were much sicker. That makes me think the first time they may have had a cold or something because they were over it in a few days vs a few weeks the second time.

Seeing that false positives for a PCR Covid test can run in the 22% range, we have no idea who is actually being reinfected. The CDC doesn’t care to find out so I suspect they already know the answer to the question.

Why does everyone keep rushing out to get tested at the first sight of the sniffles?

I haven't been tested, but I think I have it too. Low grade fever, minor aches, chills, and minor headache. I think I'm going to be fine.

You don’t TCells baw? Either way, you might catch it but your body will know what to do.

The study the CDC did to prove the vaccine was better (after the rigged the rules in favor of vaccine) showed both keep people out of the hospital at a very high rate for second infection

People with natural antibodies have gotten it a second time. Coronaviruses are a bitch and we're simply going to have to get used to living with variants. Meanwhile, no one sanctions China.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but doesn’t the test simply report the presence (or not) of the virus, not whether someone “has Covid” in a clinical sense? That’s how so much of organized sports right now are seeing nearly full rosters shut down - not because everybody is sick, but because they’ve tested positive for the presence of the virus? Is this correct?

LDH reporting 1,231 reinfections. Think that is over the last week.

How many vaccine breakthroughs? How many of those reinfections were also vaccinated?

Doesn’t say. But the last time the LDH updated their dashboard, less than 70% of new cases were unvaccinated. I’m thinking that number will be closer to 60% today. If that is the case, that would put the number of vaccinated who were infected at around 3,800.

On Bannon...

"Omicron is nature's vaccine."

That's a winning slogan.
