Ayatollah Khamenei plans to flee to Moscow if Iran unrest intensifies

With his soldiers defecting, refusing orders, and getting thirsty Khamenei has no place to go except Moscow. Iran's supreme leader has plotted an exit route out of Tehran should his forces fail to quell dissent, an intelligence report reveals.

Can somebody explain to me the Muslim-Russian alliance? Didn’t the Muslims side with Hitler back when? Maybe I’m wrong but seems I recall this in the historical WWII documentaries.
